Foam material, but of good quality. The coloring to make it look like worn leather is superior. The laces on the side allow you adjust it to smaller or larger adults. For larger adults the bottom lace in the back will match the top lace in the front.

Unfortunately i have to say i was extremely disappointed. I shouldve trusted the reviews.It is NOTHING like shown. The chest piece is good material, dont get me wrong, but it is soooo short! it fits my 11 year old! Not my husband who is 6' and viking build and was going to wear it. Chest piece is very short and very tight. He tried it and the straps were almost to his chest! i did what i had to and modified it as best as i could, we had a halloween get together and there was no time or last minute costumes left but it did not looked right. 🤦🏻‍♀️ so it is not long like in the picture and It will not fit a grown man. Only children. Oh well.

The material is realistic looking. It fit as expected. The "apron" part and shoulder ruffles are a bit flimsy. We cut the apron off and used the apron belt sold separately Rubie's Costume Men's Roman Apron and Belt Accessory, Multicolor, One Size It has little brads that make it hang nicely.

It was a little small, but I was able to work it out and get it to fit for my warrior outfit.

My son used this as part of his Halloween costume this year. It was sturdy and flexible at the same time. Great product.

First of all, read the Q&As and negative reviews before ordering. This is NOT the complete costume as pictured. There are NO arm or leg guards, NO tunic, and NO helmet or sword. These "not included" items will cost you another $35, and you still won't have a tunic. Secondly, the fabric this "body armor" is constructed with is very flimsy fabric that is foam-backed, it does not hang well, and if you try to remove wrinkles and folds by ironing, you risk melting it. The dangly shoulder flanges are the same flimsy fabric without backing. Thirdly, the chest plates are cut way wide such that they'd be fine for Refrigerator Perry, or someone who is quite obese, but impossible to adjust to fit an average, trim adult male.

I am 6'2", and this fit REALLY short and REALLY wide. It does not taper in at all, even when laced tightly. You're going to have to alter it.It looks okay otherwise...
