Turned a few days into 30 minutes!
I'll be honest, I had no idea these existed until last week. I was ready to break my back trying to dig up a part of my garden with some really solid dirt before coming across this tiller.First of all, the price is unbeatable! I was very sceptical that the machine would be any good for the price. The reviews are a little mixed too, so that didn't fill me with confidence. But this little thing is an absolute powerhouse! The instructions are extremely easy to follow to put the the whole thing together. After that, the process is pretty self explanatory. It kicked up all of the dirt with just one pass. The stones and tangle of roots embedded in the soil didn't stand a chance! It does give a little bit of a jump when you start it, so be mindful of that, but it is was so easy to control and maneuver that I'd liken it to mowing the grass (but more fun!)For the job it does, I'm surprised that it wasn't heavier or louder. The noise is on par with any other electrical garden item.Overall, I'm just really sad that we only had the one project that we needed this for. It was actually a pleasure to use.

Happy with product.
Bought to break up very heavy clay soil in a new build garden. It’s not the most powerful rotovator but at this price point that’s to be expected. We found it worked best on ground which had already been roughly dug over. If your soil isn’t heavy clay you may find you don’t need to dig it over first. It seems a robust device and isn’t too heavy or bulky to store. I’m glad I bought it as it does make gardening on heavy clay a lot easier for those of us who aren’t as young as we used to be.

More than impressed
Bought to replace an old and finally died machine and for use in a relatively long and intended garden. The blades work well and loosens well compacted soil, even heaving buried house bricks etc out of the way mostly with ease.As with everything out of the box it is a few bolts and 5 minutes to put together and away you go.Definitely value for money, light, easy to use and time will tell on it's longevity. The real bottom line is it makes spade work a hell of a lot easier.

Highly Recommended. As powerful as petrol versions, if not moreso.
I have to say that I was initially sceptical about buying an electric rotovator/tiller over a petrol one, but this took was extremely powerful. It turned over heavily weeded soil in seconds and extracted bricks, large stones and roots with ease. Heavy, sturdy construction and easy to use. Very pleased with the performance. Highly recommended.

Cultivate to your hearts content
This cultivator (no wheels) has really surprised me and has made a great job of opening up sections of compacted earth, with a lot of fibrous ivy roots etc. below the surface. You should remove any tangled roots & weeds close to the gearbox to ensure it gets the chance to churn up the earth without overheating, but I’ve used it for 5 solid days to clear a rough, overgrown section of land and it’s performed really well, so I’d say that’s a great purchase.ProsInexpensive, yet a good quality unitEasy to assembleLight weight but sturdyEasy to control, yet has enough power to drive itself forwardReasonable cable length, but will require a suitable, safe extensionConsIt’s electric, so mind that cableThe gearbox gets hot, so it’s worth letting it cool off now & again

Hyundai - Magic.
This is a wonderful machine, saved a lot of back breaking work. My husband and I are both in our 70's and were very happy with the way it performed, and indeed the cost - as it worked out cheaper than hiring one for a week. Unfortunately we still have the front garden to do - but are happy that we have the machine to do it. Our verdict - great machine for a great price.Phil and Maggie - Hampshire.

Powerful
Good powerful machine. In my opinion, a rear plough bar would make a big control improvement as a restraint to prevent leap when a harder object is encountered by the rotors.
