Great so far!
I purchased this item as I am getting back into vlogging very soon and was looking for an alternative to the shot gun mic I currently used as more times than less the deadcat (Windmuff) get in the frame when filming.I knew about other brands including Rode which is more the go to brand everyone chooses. However, I am a guy that likes to try brands outside the quote in quote "popular & flagship" brands. So, I watched some reviews and made my decision in buying this and trust me when I am telling you I HAVE NO REGRETS! this one ticks all of my boxes.I haven't been back to vlogging as yet however I have done a few sound checks without and with the included lavalier microphone 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾. I would definitely recommend someone looking for a reliable, good quality & sound as well as light weight wireless microphone system for videos/vlogs etc. to definitely give this a try!

Great sound quality.
For me, this's been a great deal and experience. I've used it to record a promotional and interview video, the sound was good quality. Just one thing though. Make sure you select the same audio levels (on the receiver)even if you are using just one transmitter.

The Comica Boom X-D is a neat piece of kit.
Something to say outright. If you plan on using this for monitoring your own audio while you speak, there is an “echo” effect that I believe is being caused by the 2.4GHz band that this uses to transmit on. If interference from this band is something that you are concerned about then be aware of that before you buy. 2.4GHz is a very “busy band” and most Wi-Fi systems use it in combination with 5GHz. If you do not plan on monitoring your own audio, then it isn't as big of a deal. I tested it in areas of moderate wireless activity and did experience some minor interference but nothing that stopped me from using it.With that out of the way, the kit is very complete. It comes with the receiver and transmitter that are VERY small and easy to wear and hide. No more super large battery packs. Both can be charged with USB-C and a cable is included. The downside of course is you cannot quickly swap batteries since the battery is internal, but they are likely going to be longer lasting than a pair of AA. Worst comes to worse is you get a small battery pack to strap to it. The receiver can handle up to two transmitters, but I’m not sure you could buy them separately if you want to grow your “fleet” later.Speaking of included cables, you get three connection cables, one for Canon/Nikon style cameras, one for Sony/Panasonic/Fujifilm style and one for Smartphones. Other items included in the box are a windsock for the built-in mic in the transmitter, a lavalier/lapel microphone, the manual and a SIM eject style reset tool.Pairing the two devices is trivial and takes seconds. The extra detail of the belt clips being the same thickness as the camera hot/cold shoe means it can be safely mounted on top of the camera or setup you’re using with little to no difficulty. The microphone is very sensitive and comes with several adjustable levels, but you might need to tone it down on the camera as well. The receiver has a “monitor” plug for you to insert headphones to listen to the audio being captured. I wasn’t able to utilize this since I record my own voice and was experiencing the weird echo/delay I describe above. This would be especially handy for Smartphones or cameras that have a “mic in” plug but no spot for headphones. So long as your situation and conditions do not rely on monitoring your own audio as you speak and interference from other 2.4GHz devices are nominal, this is a solid choice due to the compact size, easy to use, lightweight nature of the unit.In conclusion:Pros:-Lightweight.-Easy to use.-Two mic options.-USB-C Charging.-Hot/Cold shoe mountable with no additional parts.-Lots of cables included.-Adjustable audio levels.Cons:-2.4GHz interference is possible.-Internal battery.-Plastic construction.-No option to buy an additional transmitter separate?

iPhone version CANNOT split L/R, CANNOT adjust volume independently, drops connection
the iPhone 2 mic version (same price as the regular 2 mic version) is stripped of MANY of the features unique features of the BoomXD regular receiver.iPhone 2 mic version is severely crippled compared to the regular versioncannot independently control the gain on each mic.the volume button adjusts for both microphonesand it cannot separate recording into left and right channels, so you'll get both mics recorded into mono channel on both left and rightthere's no display so you cannot see the gain level to see if the recording volume is too low or too hot.to compensate, I had to use an expensive camera iPhone app ilke FilmicPro that has a real time volume meter in the app to let me know if my recording level is set properly.also, the iPhone receiver lacks an on/off button on the receiver so it's constantly draining your iPhone's battery the entire time it's plugged in, even if the iPhone goes into stand by mode with the screen off, the boomXD iOS receiver is still draining the iPhone's battery.lacking an on/off switch is a HUGE oversight compared to the regular BoomXD version with awesome 2 channel receiver that DOES have a on/off button.the only way to save your iPhone's battery is to keep unplugging the receiver and risk losing it (it doesn't even come with a carry case @ $339 Cdn pre-tax). i have my entire rig setup on a high-end gimbal so to install/remove the iPhone receiver, i'd need to dismantle the entire phone from the gimbal first so it's NOT practical to keep taking the receiver on and off in a run and gun shooting session as it will require rebalancing the phone on the gimbal each time. as the receiver does NOT offer a charging pass through to charge your phone, i find that my iPhone 8 runs out of juice in a casual recording session very quickly as it's running FilmicPro recording in 4k AND being drained by the iPhone receiver the entire time whether the iPhone is recording or not.———Update: Oct 25, 2020, I’ve used the pin reset on the disconnecting transmitter and it seems to have stabilized the connection for now and I have not heard the popping noise every few seconds nor having one of the transmitters keep losing its connection.build quality is very cheap plastic. pinching some of the units lightly you'll hear creaking sounds as the fit and finish are not on par with something like the Rode Wireless Go, which I also own.the included wired mic gives a weird swirling sound affect some times (i've seen another amazon reviewer saying the same thing). when NOT using the included wired lav mic, i did not notice this weird sound issue.i switched out the Comica included wired mic to a Rode SmartLav+ (with a Rode TRS to TRRS adapter) and my recorded improved quite a bit: the Rode lav had clearer sounding highs and sharper sound instead of the dull sounding affect of the included wired lav mic.overall, for my voice, the Rode Wireless Go sounded better to my ears and I have never experienced mic wireless connection drops, popping sounds, on the Rode, NOT even once.when an amazon reviewer is given/lent this microphone free of charge, it's easy to give it high praise because it does have some really awesome features.but!!if you have to pay for it like i did, I’d like to say you get what you paid for but the Comica is now $339 Cdn + outrages Canadian taxes, this is NOT a cheap product, we should expect better, especially for the iPhone/USB-C version, which has so many fewer features compared to the regular BoomXD version, they should charge less for these cut down versions.
