I bought this to travel with and I think for that purpose, it works fine. I have long hair and I normally use a 2" barrel curling iron for larger curls or that wavy beach look. This is a 1" barrel and creates tighter curls, but it's workable. I have to do smaller sections and it takes a little longer because the barrel is short, but I expected that. The other reviewers are correct that there really isn't enough tension in the clip to keep hair stable on the iron. For me, it's fine because my hair is long enough to wrap around the barrel. For people with shorter hair, this could be a problem. The heat goes up to 320 degrees and there is no temp control, so for people with fine or damaged hair, this could be too hot and cause scorching or more damage. Also, there is no auto shut off. If none of this would be a problem for you, it's a compact little iron that will fit in your purse and creates decent curls...at least for long hair.

I bought this to have at work for quick fixes. It heats up quickly, and stores away nicely. I don't have to wait for it to cool down.

PRO: Very cute! Comes in a few colors, I got the pink, love it!CON: Not the most practical for haircare as the shaft is SHORT. BUT again it is designed for travel.CON: IMHO better for short hair than long due to short shaft size. I have long hair, mid-back, and it took a little longer to curl.I wanted a WAND style curling iron, I used this iron this way by wrapping hair and not using the clip/pinch feature...I was happy with the results.PRO: LIPSTICK design! Probably the cutest part of the curling iron, and when the iron is hot and you need to leave the hotel room, you feel better putting on the lipstick cap...CON: 1 temperature setting and NO AUTOMATIC SWITCH OFFOverall, I like it!

Perfect size for small hands.

I liked the short barrel and it does heat up very quickly.Something that I did not think of, when I ordered this, was the color.Having the barrel and the handle the same color was a big mistake. I burnt my hand when I accidentally picked up the wrong end. Yes, I should have been more careful. Fortunately, no serious injury but I don't know if everyone would be so lucky.I like the product...but really should be a two or three color combination for safety.

This iron performed better than expected. It heats up fast and actually curls my hair better than my bigger iron. It is very small so takes longer if you’re curling all your hair and it can be hard to get your hair in the barrel. I won’t use it as my daily iron. I have medium length fine thick hair. It doesn’t have a stand so I bought a silicone sleeve to set it on and store. I REALLY wish it had auto off. That’s my biggest complaint about this iron. If it had that I’d give it 5 stars.

It perfect but it dont hold tightHair .

This is ok. Fairly compact, but only about 2 inches shorter than my standard. The tension on the clamp is very loose, and will barely capture and hold hair. Would not recommend for anyone with fine hair

Estas pinzas no las recomiendo para cabello corto aunque pareciera que son para eso, solo alcanza a dar una vuelta ya que el grosor dela pinza es para cabello semi largo o largo. Pero si es bonito y pequeño como para viaje.
