Love the watch, hate AT&T LTE setup
Got 2 of these watches, 46mm for me the 42mm for my wife. The watch was very easy to setup with my Samsung Fold Z 3 for bluetooth. However the LTE part was a nightmare but I will put the blame on AT&T for that. I will go into detail on that part below. I upgraded from a Fitbit Versa 3 and I am happy that I did! I bought the LTE version but haven't committed to keeping the data plan, I usually have my phone on me but I can see where it would be nice when you don't want your phone on you such as the beach. Pro. Bluetooth easy to setup Lots of awesome functionality, such as being able to silence your alarm on your watch. SMS pictures show up! The spin wheel on top is awesome for navigation. You can have it set up so you only get notifications on your watch when your phone isn't in use. Con's Battery Life. I get a little over a day out of charge, I don't mind having to charge it every day but wish it had a physical connection, the wireless charging takes about 1.5-2 hrs to fully charge. My fitbit would last about 4 days for me and the magnetic physical charge would only take 30 min. Yes this watch does more but just wish it would charge faster or a bigger battery. I Like the sleep tracking so I don't like charging it while im in bed. Separate apps for the watch settings and for the physical tracking. Maybe some people like that but I am use to Fitbit's all in one All about LTE LTE setup was a nightmare. I did it all through ATT, for those of you who don't know how it works your phone gets it's own phone number and your calls and messages get forward when your phone is out of range. This watch needs a eSIM card not a physical SIM. For ATT it will be about 30 bucks for a setup free and 10mo (13 with fees) as of 2022. eSIM card came fast in the mail (not sure why they just couldn't generate an email), next day after using ATT online order. When you set up your data plan you're just suppose to scan the QR code on the eSIM card and it all works. Mine didn't, had to call ATT support. After about 2 hours the kid on the other line got my account setup manually. The watch still didn't connect, ,got some sort of SDK error. So ATT put me in touch with a specialist who called me about 3 days later. He told me the SDK error should be fixed. and sure enough it was. Now we have to number sync with watch with the phone, got the code on the watch, no where to put the code in the phone, spent an hour trying to figure it out. Told me he would try to set it up again and try it the next day. The fix Before he called, I figured it out. When I unpaired the watch from my phone it makes you set it up from scratch and since the ATT account was in my phone when I set the watch up it found my data plan and set it up. The button in the App to put the code in showed up, so this time when I numbered synced I had a place to put the code in and it worked. My wife's issue instead of using the automation system my wife called ATT customer service, they sent her a physical sim instead of a eSIM. When she called ATT, she got someone who didn't know what to do. Called again the next day, the guy did get the account setup but then she got the SDK error that I got. The guy was telling her all the wrong stuff, I had to education the guy on what was wrong, his solution was that she could only set it up at the ATT store. We waited a couple of days and the SDK error fixed it self and she was able to number sync and it's been working since. Maybe this would have been less of a nightmare at an AT&T store but the only had one version of the watch for sale. Also between using Amazons CC and reward points the watch came out cheaper, worth the hassle in my book

It Works
I've used this watch for a few months and I find myself going back to my Fitbit Sense. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 has numerous problems. First among them are very poor battery life. I had to recharge this watch every day or risk having it completely discharge while on my wrist. Another issue is with the promised apps (e.g. ECG and blood pressure). They do not work....period. Both apps require you to be "outside the US" and have a Samsung phone in order for it to even be downloaded. Oh yes, there is a convoluted workaround that you can download off the web from a third party but if you have any problems with your phone or change phones you have to go through the whole process again. The blood pressure app is not accurate anyway and you have to keep calibrating the app with a real blood pressure monitor to even use it. Update After 9 Months of Use... Actually this watch has grown on me. At least it works much better than the Fitbit Sense (the Fitbit Sense will not auto-update the hour after crossing a time zone resulting in late/missed appointments). This Samsung works fine in that regard and most everything else on it works correctly. The battery issue is still there but I got around it by dimming the screen a little and turning off "always on" for the display. Still have to charge every morning which is a pain. ECG and blood pressure apps still do not work. I keep a self-wind watch in reserve.

Great Watch, Poor Battery
Pros: +Working bezel sets this apart from other smart watches +Super customizable with 3rd party bands and watch faces, app locations, etc. +WearOS gives you access to so many apps including Habitica, Roku remote, google apps, etc. +All health essentials through Samsung health +Works great with any android, so long as you download the Samsung apps. +Bluetooth earbud pairing with downloaded music playlists and podcast make this a gym rat's treasure +The price in 2024 can't be beat for this quality. You can buy the newer models for 3x as much and avoid the 2 negatives, but this one in my opinion does so much already and looks way more classy. Cons -Bezel gets scratch up easily because it protrudes but this is true of any bezeled watch Sidenote: Get a screen protector. This is a no brainer but even with the bezel you will need one. -Battery lasts 24hrs if you are using the watch moderately. On my first day constantly playing with it and seeing what it could do the battery drained fast, maybe lasted 4-8hrs but once I got used to it and integrated it into everyday life, it lasts 24hrs. If you can fit in an hour of charge a day you can stretch it to a few days before needing a longer charge. For those who have an inconsistent schedule, you will want a different watch. It will die on you and you will be leaving it at home to charge every other day unless you can fit in that hour of charge. Half my job is book work so I can charge it while at my desk so consider if this is right for your lifestyle. Also, you will want the screen brightness around 45% for that balance of visibility and battery life. I do keep my watch face on because I want my watch to look like a watch and not a dead circle on my wrist when out in public and it still lasts me around 24hrs.

Upon receiving, noticed the Samsung seal was broken and replaced with dealer’s own seal. The watch looks new with no visible scratches. Used the supplied magnetic charger to charge the watch. Powered on the watch and paired to my Samsung phone using Samsung connect. Not issue with all its functions like Samsung Pay, Sleep tracking etc. Overall satisfied with the watch. Despite being an export set, it costs half as much as a local set.
