You end up reflecting on your own life in so many ways especially if you've regrets of the past or heartbreaks. These books are rife with capturing moments we all experience but rarely notice, gut wrenching nostalgia and an aching longing for things once passed and things one craves to experience again. I think time is the central focus of both books, be it in the beauty and headrush of the present moment or the anguish and heartache of looking to the past. Do not hesitate to buy and read these amazing books and be prepared to have your soul ripped out... In the most beautiful way. Review: Beautiful stories to warm the heart - The books arrived swiftly and in perfect condition. The stories of Elio, his father and Oliver are totally absorbing. They pick you up and carry you along. I wasn't sure how I'd get on with the first part of Find Me - which is from Elio's father's point of view, as it was such a jump from Call Me By Your Name. Once I'd started it however, I became just as engrossed and interested. Aciman has a tallent for pulling the reader into the story. I don't normally read first person narrative books because I tend not get on with the style. There are exptions though and these are two of them. I loved them from beginng to end, and will probably do so again and again and again.

Good & bad
CMBYN is brilliant. 5 stars, emotional and beautiful. Find Me is a failed attempt at a sequel. The author rambles on about new characters. By the end only 11 pages are dedicated to Elio & Oliver. A massive letdown to what could’ve been a great book.

Regalati ad un'adolescente che aveva visto il film in streaming di "chiamami col tuo nome". Ne è rimasta entusiasta perché insieme al titolo più celebre il secondo libro è il sequel del primo. Interamente in inglese, utile anche per esercitarsi con la lingua e imparare nuovi termini.

Son para mi hija, que vio la película, le gustó mucho y ahora le he regalado el libro, así práctica el inglés. No sabía que había segunda parte y al venir en pack, muy bien

Ce sont bien les deux romans qui arrivent. Belle qualité d'édition, police grande et agréable. Totalement accessible et compréhensible avec un niveau C1. Je les ai achetés après avoir vu le film de Luca Guadagnino. Find me est la suite de l'histoire qui n'est pas développée dans le film Call me by your name.
