I bought these as bobbins for my multicoloured crochet project. They work a treat, keep everything nice and tidy. The hook on the end stops wool slipping off and the length on one side is brilliant to wind wool around without inhibiting the opening mechanism. I wanted something that wasn’t plastic so all in all perfect for the job.

Looking for a peg type clip I could use for several different purposes, these have been far more useful than I first thought. Very light and easy to use to hang items up on hooks, anywhere inside or out, eg, teatowels , papers, scissors, small tools, lists, instructions and so on. Everyone who sees how I use them has asked if I had one or two to spare, the answer is always “No, sorry, go buy your own, they are worth it”

Negative:If the laundry item and the wire/string are thin, due to the clips being concave, they don't apply pressure on the string, hence the laungry cannot hang straight between two pegs and/or can be pushed by the wind on the string, which causes the evaporation surface area to decrease.The above can be partially solved by catching the string and clothing item between the edges, straight ends of the peg. I imagine it would be perfect if these ends that touch each other when the peg is closed would be bent slightly, concave, to accommodate the string between them, with the thin clothing item. This would decrease the risk of the pegs releasing the string if it's windier. I hanged thin, synthetic tshirts between the very ends of the clips with the string in between and they held fine during medium wind.I hanged some thick socks using the hook and they were fine. No need to bend them, which would have decreased the evaporation surface area, so they dried quicker.The coil has medium strength, not too strong, not too weak.I have a laundry dryer rack with thick bars and the hooks will allow me to hang the laundry on them, as opposed to other pegs, which would have needed to be wide enough to accommodate the bars.They look masculine. A man and traditional pegs just look wrong in my view.I got the 50 pegs pack. Unbelievable how many pegs are needed for one person's clothes. I do use two pairs of socks a day, one for physical exercise..

I used these to hold up polythene dust sheets over fitted wardrobes whilst decorating and to weigh down the sides and bottom to stop the sheet blowing around when the window was open. Similarly used the pegs to weigh the polythene sheet down over the bed, worked a treat. I haven’t used them for any of the other suggestions made by the seller, however they may make an appearance at Christmas to hang decorations, will probably need a bit of ribbon or something on to hide them from view. I would suggest not for heavy items.

These are phenomenally useful for hanging drying items indoors, especially smaller handwashed items. Can't recommend these enough for this purpose.However one minor problem was storage - in a traditional peg bag the pegs tend to get oddly intimate with each other. This creates a giant metal puzzle which needs slow careful unpicking - a nuisance when hanging washing. Best solution so far, clip unused pegs to something instead of bagging them. A wire coat hangar used for this purpose can also be hung up..Overall though, very happy with these.
