Very easy to understand
Very easy to understand, cooperative, and low time commitment (so my roommates and I pull the game out just for a few quick rounds or when we're in the mood a couple of hours of creative silly descriptions). Think taboo in reverse--you have to get your partners to guess ideas/nouns/adjectives using only a few basic words (person do thing, place hot fast...) and only those words. You know you're addicted when you start speaking only using those words--person say thing, many thing, person say thing fast, person make many person feel good. This is a keeper and it should be around for a long time.

You'll start speaking in PDT
A favorite in our house. We love how creative and challenging the game is, and the fact that it can be played by 2 to n people, getting everyone involved. We played so much we started developing a PDT lexicon: "thing no thing" = concept, "person no person" = animal, etc.

Great party game to have around
You know a game is good when non-players are stopping to watch and then demanding to play. That happens with this game. It's just fun. Simple to learn and challenging to win. Get it.

The real fun began when my sister got "cruise ship
Broke this game out to break the tension at a family reunion. It took us a few minutes to grasp the concept that we could a) only use the words on the cards and b) still describe things. The real fun began when my sister got "cruise ship." After a while it was just more fun to pretend *not* to guess and keep her working to explain the concept. There was a lot of laughing. After a few rounds, we found people were describing things in really creative ways--it feels like opening up some part of the brain that stays shut most of the time. But mostly, it's just fun. Be prepared for some Freudian slips.

This is a great game because it's both incredibly simple (takes sub-five minutes to learn) and can be incredibly challenging. I break it out pretty much whenever I have a group of friends over because it's so easy to learn and fun to play. It's also a brain workout as you try to be as precise in your descriptions as possible within such a limited vocabulary set. It can be frustrating -- but on the flip side, so, so satisfying when someone correctly guesses the word. Other positives: It's family friendly and very flexible time-wise; you can play with anyone, for as long (or as short) a time as you want.

A unique and fast to learn game that I really enjoy
I've now played this game at four different events. It's a great party game. Fast to learn, and goes interesting places. Sometimes when people get an answer it almost feels like psychic powers, since the game taps subtle intuition that humans seem to share without realizing it. It's also cool to see how many different ideas can be expressed with so little. We even brought this game with us on vacation. I highly recommend it!

I love playing Person Do Thing
I love playing Person Do Thing! I've had such a great time playing with such different friend groups - it's so crazy how much every person customizes it and makes it their own. I love games where I feel everyone's individual style comes through so intensely. So many fun hours had already, and I can't wait for so many more!

Every friend I introduced this game to friends we had such a blast. Perfect low-commitment game for people who love brain teasers and word play.
