I’ve been using this for a year now to charge my Tesla, and it’s been flawless. I looked into getting one of those $300 auto-sensing adapters that will direct the charge to either your dryer or your car, but I’m glad I decided to go this route.It’s well made. Very thick, heavy duty. Both plugs fit in nice and tight. It has not been a problem at all to simply plug into the Tesla once I’m sure we’re not going to be using the dryer (e.g. at night).Very happy w this purchase!

No More Unplugging, Handles Charging
Wanted a solution to avoid unplugging dryer every time I wanted to charge without any new wiring. Also wanted to make sure connections stayed cool during charging. I carefully routed charging and dryer cables and supported using some eye hooks on the wall. When charging at 24A(30Abresjer), connectors are similar in temp to charging wire so for first 3-4 charges works great and so does dryer. Of course the main thing you can NOT do is run both charger and dryer at the same time so we hang a sign over dials when charging car so we don’t accidentally forget.
