Great study bible

I love the NIV Cultural Study Bible, so much so that I had to replace my original with a leather bound Bible, this Bible allows greater insight to what life was like in Biblical times! I would recommend this Bible for anyone looking for an indepth Study aBible!

I use this bible in tandem with the NIV biblical theology study bible and it is like it was made to work together. I will take a picture of one of the 1st article that made me say "whoa, I love this study bible". One regret I have is that I should I bought the NKJV since the theology study bible only come in NIV. Don't hesitate, get it.

Got this for my husband for his birthday and he love it. Lots of great information that adds to the understanding of the bible. Great references and historical information.

The reason because called cultural background study bible but in Acts 20 verse 7 when say "first day of the week" and the study note do not say the original word in Greek used "Sabbatov" - and study note says: "kept on talking until midnight. This meeting probably runs from Sunday evening through Monday morning and was planned because Paul had to leave on Monday". I'm not a Jew but Paul was, and the cultural background is the time was a Motza’ei-Shabbat, and that is a ceremony when Jews finished the Sabbath, and in Jew calendar day end on sunset, so our (Roman) calendar that is Saturday night, so they talking until midnight or early the morning, so Paul leave on Sunday. So my question is where is the study note for a cultural background? Nice pictures have in it. Actually the foot notes not much useful.
