Very stiff release mechanism
Door fit the camera. The attachment release mechanism too stiff to move without use of a tool.

These were clearly reverse-engineered and it doesn't fit smooth or latch properly.

NOT an OEM Canon Part
While this part does fit the battery compartment of the Canon 5D Mark IV please be aware that it does NOT have the rubber gasket like the original Canon part, thus eliminating the weather/water seal of the original part. Buyer beware! The color is also more of a dark grey than black and therefore does not match the color of the camera body.
