Honeystore Vintage Lace UV Sun Parasol Folding 3D Flower Embroidery Umbrella

I bought this to use for my son's field trip to Universal. It was amazing! Not only did it help me stay cool in our FL sun, but I also got so many compliments! The light weight of it was awesome. I didn't get tired at all holding it all day. The biggest bonus is I also felt like a princess with it. The beautiful detail of the embroidered flowers really stood out in the sun! I'm absolutely pleased with my purchase and plan on getting many other colors in the near future!

This is intended to be a gift for a friend, who is going to be living abroad for a few years. I read about the region in which she will be living, and it gets really, really hot there in the summer. She is going to want to do some touristy traveling, and she will walk a lot. A parasol seemed like a good bon voyage gift.What a beautiful parasol!!! It is small enough to really be a parasol--not a big, rain umbrella. I have read that black lining really works against UV rays. That was one of our concerns with a parasol. This parasol has a black lining, but it is not at all overwhelming to the beautiful top. It comes with a cute, matching bag. I had read the reviews saying that a person will never get the parasol back into the bag. I did. It took a little bit, but I did it. Can't wait for our friend to open this gift.Some folks in the reviews mentioned that the parasol was a little difficult to open and close. There are directions for how to open the parasol on the gift box, however, a little more instruction would have been helpful, like how to snap and unsnap the ribs. At first, I was afraid I was going to break something. It also takes some time to open and close, but it is so worth the time.There was a little bracelet/charm item enclosed with the parasol. I am not sure what it is. Does it go on the parasol somehow? It is cute. I just don't know what it is for.Like I said before--this is beautiful! Our friend is just going to love it!

It is a beautiful umbrella and it arrives as it appears in the images, it is too beautiful.

The media could not be loaded. Just got this, so first impressions. This umbrella is significantly less domed than it looks in the pictures, it also folds a little bit strangely. That said it does seem like it’s decent quality. It’ll just be a pain to open and close.The interior material is a rain jacket type of material that is black on one side, white on the other. The flowers look great, some of them are a little bit folded from shipping but overall they look nice. Some of them are folded because of the way the umbrella is stored, so I don’t anticipate those ones ever looking quite as nice as the rest of the flowers. The carrying bag is nice and made of the exact same materials as the umbrella. To get the umbrella back into the bag, each of the spines has to be articulated by hand before you can fold it to close it or to put it back in the bag. All in all, and this will be a nice parasol for my walks, but it isn’t exactly what’s in the pictures.

In addition to being unusual in ornamentation, this is better than any sunhat to be found since it has a very wide diameter and can be (hand) tilted to any direction from where the sun is beating down. After watching the ladies at the Kentucky Derby with so many beautiful wide-brim hats, I was surprised that it was clearly shown that many still had the sun baking their faces and necks. Of course, at that particular event, parasols and umbrellas are prohibited (due to the possibility of "spooking" the animals); but nevertheless it was quite evident that even with the w-i-d-e chapeaus there was no possibility of completely avoiding being subject to skin cancer completely. Hence, while not for every setting (and, after all, having to keep one hand occupied at all times), this item is a marvelous alternative (while being quite fashionable) to wearing even the best hat (sun-proof versions included) around! Yes, it is pricey, but so worth saving up to get and consider it more of a necessity than a splurge. Gosh, think of this as cheaper than a good supply of additional quality sunscreen, much less a doctor's visit! In addition, you'll be getting tons of compliments! While a bit "flashy", I opted for the grey tones as seemed to be the most subtle of choices - and I'm very pleased with that choice! Hope this helps somebody to have an even happier and healthier summer!

Pictures can’t do this umbrella justice. It is so beautiful and dainty looking yet it’s much more durable than I had expected. I would love it in every color!

Came broken and I forget to return it in the window.

When fully extended, I find it firm and pretty. It definitely blocked the sun and looked as was promised.The seams are sloppy, though, and it's difficult to pop up properly, collapse, and store. I rarely carry it for that reason. I won't buy this brand again.
