Nice upgrade from factory
I bought the Recoil 8" sub to replace the blown factory sub in my 04 4runner. I was so impressed with the quality, that I bought these 6x9's to replace the failing front door speakers. The factory JBL speakers are component in the front door. I simply removed the factory speaker and crossover and installed these. The factory speakers are 2ohm and these are 3ish. It's hard to find 2ohm 6x9's that don't break the bank. I was worried these may be a little quiet based on the slightly higher ohm rating. Once I got them hooked up, I found that they were sufficiently loud and sounded great. It has great bass as well as quality mid and treble. It's just a good sounding speaker. I think I will end up buying the 6.5's to replace the rear door speakers as well. I'm just really impressed with the quality and value of Recoil.

Overall good quality, especially for the price.
They are a nice little speaker. They were a little muddy sounding until I got them EQ’ed right, but once I did that, they do pretty well for a inexpensive 4” coaxial. They really came alive when amplified at 5O watts RMS. They sound really good on certain types of music, like country and classic rock.Of course, don’t expect much on the low end. 4” speakers just are going to give you that. I will say that I helped mine out by mounting them inside some foam speaker baffles, instead of just the cavernous space behind the dash. It seems to have added a little punch to them.

Surprised me
For a relatively new and unknown brand to me, these speakers have it covered. I drive a Jeep wrangler with no top, and the sound these speakers put out is loud and crisp. The highs, the mids and the bass are all there. Totally recommend these as a viable option to Kickers.

not bad but, very "bright" sounding
for the price they're not bad at all. they're certainly far better than the blown stock speakers in my Corolla. with adapters they fit well and function perfectly. bass production is far less than I expected from them and the highs are much brighter than I think they should be. heavy use of the EQ in the stock stereo shows they can produce a more natural sound. the lack of bass could realistically be caused by the stock stereo.

Great little speaker
First of all these aren’t putting down any real bass and really just a hint of mid-bass. With that said they are great accent speakers to add more high range sound. I have them hooked up as a second set of rear speakers on a separate amp in the hatch area of a Camaro. Hooked to a 50watt amp (per channel) and they get pretty loud and with the proper tuning on my amp they don’t sound bad at all. Powered directly by the stereo itself will take a bit of tuning to get them to sound good
