This is the easiest and fastest way to plug a hole in your tire. It comes with glue which i thought you had to dab a little on but you don't. It's only if you want to reuse the screw. But couldn't hurt as I applied a little then smoothed it over to where you don't even see the screw. 😎 I was going to do a video but it was that quick to repair. Literally in seconds. I thought of this before why there couldn't be some type of screw type plug and now boom fast n easy newer way to fix a hole in a tire. I originally went to a tire store to get a plug done. $27. It was on the tread not the sidewall. They told me they couldn't do it that I needed a new tire which was about $300. He then quickly told me might as well do the other side so it's even then he said I didn't have much tread on the others so might as well get 4 new tires for $1k. 🤨 I said I didn't plan on spending a thousand dollars today. He quickly said they offer 6 month financing at 0 percent. ... Yeah I left. You gotta watch out for crooked people that just want to upsell. Like I said it was repairable as it was in the middle of the tread but they didn't want to do it. Neither did a 2nd shop I went too again they just wanted to sell 4 new tires. 😐 This worked great tire is still at 35psi towing my lawn mower. Good kit to have.

These really work, even in semi tires. We used a drill on low. It’s been 2 months and no leaking

I got small nail in my Onewheel tire and was anguishing patching versus replacement versus plugs. Then, I discovered these screw-in type plugs. The Onewheel came with puncture sealant already in the tire, but it was oozing some oily substance still. I was concerned about that interfering with the bond of the glue provided in this kit, but no worries! The kit came with the tubs of black vulcanizing rubber cement and also this super glue stuff with hypodermic needle attachments! That was unexpected and perfect for what I was doing. So, I used the hypo to inject some super glue before screwing in the plug, adding more super glue along the way. This helped displace the tire sealant and prevent it from interfering. This leak is now sealed, baby! I allowed it to dry for about 30 minutes (the instructions state 15 min). I also hit it with a heat gun since cyanoacrylate benefits from that.

It works for small punctures and it is far easier than conventional tire-repair plugs. However, I was disappointed in that the tube of glue dried off after using only once. I made sure it was well sealed after I used it and a few months later I could not get anything out of the tube for another puncture. It is worth noting that my kit only came with one tube of glue. I now have to purchase a new kit just for the glue. A couple of smaller glue tubes might be a solution.
