I would actually give this pedal a 4.7 tyo 4.8 star review if the system would allow the decimals.I have been playing guitar for half a century and have used and owned several different brands and models, mostly crybaby and a variety of Morly wah pedals, with a Snarling Dogs pedal from England thrown in for good measure, because it is the brand Jeff Beck Used.With that said, this Hotone is over all the best. It is well made, compact, so ot fits nicely on my pedal board offers wah, volume and expression which all work very well, is a beautiful metalflake blue, is quiet and I like the LED feature which shows the volume level. I have used this pedal constantly over the last few days and it works equally as well for bass as guitar, however I cannot speak about it's durability, as I have a Hotone bass press pedal which was passable at best and did not last very long.

Excellent volume and wall combination pedal with a few goodies thrown in. A switch that changes the sound of the wall to modern or classic, indicator lights that helps to know if you’re at full volume or not, input for an expression pedal plus built like a tank. I have played many wall pedals petals over the years. This pedal beats them all with quality sound and value for the money. Great job and designing the special. Plus it takes up very little space on your pedal board.A+

Works great. It's all the settings I like have on the Dunlop but I prefer the shape and the volume/wah combo is a feature I always wanted.

This pedal has nothing to complain about in terms of features. The LEDs are useful, the tone is great, the size is great, it has real griptape. However there are two things that prevent me from giving it 5/5. One, in the heel-down position there is a dead zone. Not the absolute worst thing ever but what really gets me is there's a loud click that runs through the signal when turning it on and off with the toe switch. If just this one thing was fixed, I could deal with the dead spot. But this loud click when engaging is something I'm gonna have to fix before I consider this pedal fit for gigging.

This is a well designed pedal. The size and the way it works are both excellent. The Wah tones are well chosen. I got this for my alternate pedal board, now I want it on my main board!

Bought for the volume pedal feature because its active but the wah is very good too. Recommended.

This is a great design. Nice size. Looks great, well built.I have a love/hate relationship with this pedal .. love the wah.. hate the volume. I really like the lighted indicator so you know if the wah is on and it sounds great. The volume pedal unfortunately is terrible for me.There’s big silent gap it in before the pedal engages.. I find it hard to float the volume.. it escalates at a weird rate.I bought it to save valuable real estate on my pedal board.If there’s a way to adjust the volume pedal please let me know. I’d really like to use this pedal.

Writing just after using it for the first time, but I am so happy with this purchase. It's a small wah that actually sounds great and works perfect for BOTH wah/volume AND expression! Seems well built, the pedal makes a clean sweep, and as an expression it seems to work great controlling the Eventide H90.Note that the wah adds a bit of drive to the signal in higher frequencies but I actually find it pleasing. I compared it to my Vox Clyde McCoy and while the Vox is much cleaner, I think I overall like the Hotone sound better. It begs you to play more like Hendrix.Love the blue light that shows you the wah/volume being on and where in the pedal rotation you are.Super satisfied after first use 😂If I don't update then it continues to be awesome.
