LAURA GELLER Baked Balance-n-Glow Illuminating Powder Foundation (Porcelain) Buildable Sheer to Light Coverage Baked Foundation, Satin Finish

I bought this to replace a nearly empty very old compact of Laura Geller foundation. It was larger (probably supersized) and I loved it. But that was discontinued so I took a chance on this. My previous was colour correcting matte ... this one is colour correcting illuminating and when I opened, was much lighter in the compact than my previous one, which although also called LIGHT, was a darker medium colour (all marbled though). But I knew I could send it back if it didn't suit and this one is perfectly acceptable to me, going into Autumn/Winter when I'm slightly paler anyway. Nice texture, a hint of glitter which I guess is he illuminating factor. Arrived in tact (no cracks or powder explosions when I opened it). I tend to wear with or without primer depending on how much of a hurry I'm in. It doesn't sit in my large pores ... and it's very easy to start off with minimum for a natual no make up look ... and to build up more for a more refined finish. I also tend to use a straight brush if I want to use the lighter parts of the marble as a highlighter .... or the darker parts as a bronzer. Saves me having to use multiple products.

This baked powder is a great addition to my makeup collection. It looks natural on the skin with a sophisticated glow. Light weight and doesn't sit in fine lines. It will last a while as it is baked not pressed. I've ordered a medium colour and it's great for my complexion.

Easy to use but I bought the wrong one. This one is very shiny - more like a highlighter and I now just use this on my cheekbones as it looks silly all over the face.

This is my absolute favourite foundation powder. I have mature skin but smooth with no blemishes so I find this perfect to give me a hint of colour and a nice glow. If you need good coverage I think Balance n Brighten would be a better choice. I always choose Fair on my medium tone skin as it has as much colour as I need for a natural no makeup look. Great price and delivered next day really well packaged.

I dont wear regular make-up but have had positive comments when using this. It blends to my skin tone and gives a lovely finish. Easy to apply and looks cool. A bit expensive though, but since I dont use it daily I expect it to last a long time.

The shipping was super fast, which is always a nice surprise. The foundation itself is incredibly lightweight – it feels like I’m not wearing anything at all, and my skin can really breathe. It gives a nice, natural look, though I wish it had just a bit more coverage for those days when I want to hide some unevenness or uncertainty in my skin tone. What really impressed me is that after a few days of using it, my skin actually looks better overall – healthier and more even. Definitely a pleasant discovery!
