My favorite part about these is rubber soles they grip very well and they protect beautifully like an average shoes which comes in handy since Hammonasset beach might as well be called Broken Shell Beach. They are very comfortable almost a second skin, again second SKIN so be weary of your toes and the top of your feet. These are very easy to clean, just soak in hot water and dawn dish soap for like 20 min (which I recommend after every use) The people that say they fill with sand must be walking in ankle high muck I had no problem walking in muck. I got the Hunter orange color and it is very vibrant making it easy to see where I am stepping and if they slip off easy to find. There is no support in the shoes so if you need insoles buy another set just for these

These are awesome for creek walking and kayaking. I have tender little baby feet and rocks bother me, so these shoes are great for me. The sole is robust enough to protect my tender feet while draining the water and keeping my feet from becoming wrinkly. I occasionally get a pebble stuck in the tread, but that's a minor nuisance for the massive improvement. My girlfriend thinks I look like a dork in them but I don't care.

This item is not good for a 250 # guy. It fits ok, the quality and price is good . Walking ability for someone who is a little older and an uneven gate should keep looking.

I recently read about how seniors are actually harmed by very supportive shoes for walking, as it doesn't allow the feet to feel and respond to the surface and so the muscles aren't stimulated. Since getting these I feel more confident and my legs and feet feel better. There are lots of rocks where I live and these provide just enough padding while allowing me to really feel the surface.

Very comfortable fit and the size is just right to my foot. The color is also perfect, the ease of use isn't to bad either, the shoe quality is also a very nice look, them being waterproof is awesome and also being slip resistant is cool.

These shoes did the job and hold up well! They can be adjusted to foot width and they fit wide feet. Wore them a lot in Hawaii!

These are definitely slip resistant. However, the excess fabric overall had my feet sliding all over the place inside. Which is weird because I have wide feet. I was walking in a creek no problem until I stepped on a little boulder and the sole of the shoe stayed put on the boulder and my foot slid sideways inside and down I went. So yeah. 3 stars. I wanted to make it more because the shoes are definitely grippy which I wanted in the water… but the fact that my big fit slide everywhere inside the shoe. Eh
