100% Pure Beeswax Candles Organic Tapers - 8 Inches Tall, 3/4 Inch Diameter, Hand Made (Set of 16)

These candles are pretty, however I was definitely disappointed for the burn time. The burn time in the description says they burn for approximately 8 hours...ummm, these burn for barely 3 hours, and in my opinion is not APPROXIMATELY 8 hours. Also, if you are looking for a dripless candle this is absolutely not a good choice either. I buy quality candles all the time and wanted to give these a try since they are supposed to burn cleaner. $24 is way too much money considering the short burn time.

I was given a wooden advent wreath made by Ann Voskamp's son but it didn't come with candles. I'm happy to report that these are lovely, smell great AND fit the holes in the wreath. I had a hard time finding any that would.

I am in shock ... many times before today have ordered wax candles from this company. I was always satisfied with the quality - the color and aroma of the candles. But today I am completely upset and outraged by the quality. Where is the floral and aromatic scent of wax? Where does the candle stick to the touch? Where a pleasant natural aroma from burning? The candles look like they've been mixed with paraffin !!! This awful pale color (look at the photo - the difference with the candle stub from the old batch) and awful paraffin smell ... I can't calm down.I ordered WAX candles!

These candles are very nice. One reviewer commented that they barely smell. One does not burn beeswax candles to get a scent, they are supposed to be virtually orderless. Sometimes you can detect a vague, very light beeswax scent if you sniff a new candle itself. I am happy with the candles; however, the unusual instructions on the bookmark contain information of a spiritual nature that is not biblical. It is not necessary to include such instructions on how to light and extinguish candles. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.

I had previously bought tea lights from this seller but this was my first purchase of tapers from seller; these are excellent tapers and I will certainly buy them again. Good value; color is beautiful and the natural beeswax scent is very pronounced with these fresh candles (like with their tea lights). The shaped bottom of the taper fits really well in the candle holder so there is not all the trouble that I sometimes have with tapers falling over and not wanting to stay in place in the holder. Good burn time and lovely beeswax bright flame.

These candles are beautiful! They burn very well and look great.

I love to have candles at dinner time, and purchased these so that I would have a set that would burn beautifully, have a pleasant scent, and not drip all over the table. They are all of that! They are technically "unscented" but a slight fragrance of honey can be detected. I find that delightful. At this writing, I actually have not used a set all the way up, as they last quite awhile, so I can't respond with burn time. One particular characteristic that I really like is the way the base is made. Most taper have kind of a round bottom. These are made to fit tightly in just about any candle holder you have without the "Stick Tight" compound, or any kind of wedging or modification. I really like that!

Really nice, well-made candles that are period appropriate and thus exactly what I wanted for an early 1900s antique candle holder. It is not always easy to find 100% beeswax candles that aren't in a honeycomb style/finish, even harder to find them still made in the US, and I also didn't want to have to buy candles by the dozen, so these were the ticket! Add a clean burn and no drips, and that takes us to 5 stars.
