I am senior (on my way to 83) & only 5ft 1in. I have had a folding 3 step stool for at least 20 years that has been my go to step stool. When I saw this 5 step ladder/folding step stool I thought it might be too good to be true after reading the reviews. When it arrived almost right away, it came in very sturdy box, no damage & is perfect in every way. Love the brown gold color, the steps are wider & easier to use than my 3 step stool, the ladder is very sturdy, gives me confidence when going up due to the large handle on top. I just bought 100 yr old house that has very high kitchen cabinets, some were too high for me to use until I got this ladder. Every household should have at least one of these ladders. Would certainly recommend buying the 5 step ladder & have thought about buying the 3 or 4 step ladder & getting rid of my old faithful 3 step stool. Can't go wrong at this price & for the quality step ladder/stool you are getting.

When I bought this stepstool, I admit I didn't pay attention to the dimensions listed in the description ... I figured a stepstool is a stepstool. When it arrived I was surprised at how big it was and I was annoyed at myself since it was bigger than I imagined. (It's not ridiculous, it's just bigger than the thing I had in mind.) But it ultimately wound up being a positive thing, because unlike other stepstols, it is really sturdy! When I'm on the top rung reaching for tall stuff I can lean my knees on the padded rail and feel totally confident.I'm surprised at how much I like this thing. The red color is awesome, too.I would definitely recommend this

Sturdy ladder and very easy to fold and store out of the way

Good quality, lightweight and makes it safer to reach things on high shelves. Very attractive too! I bought a very tall one for closet so I can access the top easily & safely, and a 4-step one for utility room to reach kitchen shelves, fan switches & light bulbs.
