The Standard - American-Made Professional Quality - New Coating is Durable
I am a home cook who has been using Wear-Ever pans for over 40 years. These moderately lightweight aluminum pans previously used a Teflon coating, which is more non-stick, and usually more durable than the newer ceramic coatings. (To dispel a persistent myth, the toxic chemical PTFE is used during the manufacture of Teflon, and is not present in the finished product.) I'm disappointed to see that Vollrath has shifted to a new "ceramic infused" coating which they claim is stronger. I will re-rate this product after a few months of use. These pans have excellent heat distribution, and the handles remain cool during use. Note that Vollrath lids are expensive, but those from many Myers cookware brands, including Anolon, Circulon and the Kirkland sets, fit just fine.Follow up: The new non-stick coating is holding up well.

This frying pan warped, always just wiped out the pan never used water and soap
The frying pan is certainly non stick, but it warped on me. Has never been put in water always wiped clean, way too much money for this pan to have to worry about warping. Is there anything you can do for me.

Even heating, easy cleanup
This is the 4th Vollrath Wear-Ever skillet of various size that I have ordered in the last 6 months. I don't see myself ever needing another brand. They heat very evenly, they are very easy to clean, the handles stay cool unless you are using very high heat. Great skillets.

Terrific non-stick pan
Really great non-stick pan. Perfect size for omelets, heats well, and made in USA so no worries about what's really in the surface. Great value too.
