I had to drill the mounting holes a bit bigger. Other then that, it works fine

Pretty easy to install, I replaced the controller at the same time to avoid doing this twice, not being certain which failed, I suspect it was the motor that was bad.Maybe you'll have better luck than me, but I had to put the motor on a few times and find the right position of the pivot plate with the saw teeth in order to get the pivot bolt, which is quite long, to thread.I found just barely attaching the motor by its 3 bolts and aligning the pivot plate in the middle of it's teeth allowed the pivot bolt to thread perfectly. And as I tightened the pivot plate bolt I tightened the motor bolts more and more.Well, that's how this seasoned rver did it. I suppose the pros have their methods.Oh, the motor power connection is waterproof and mates with the new controller perfectly. I noticed my old connectors were spliced, done by my rv dealer have no idea why.These motors do not last more than a few years. It's a common problem

This was a perfect replacement for my 2018 Allegro RED. It was easy to replace and it work’s flawlessly. The price was also right. Not expensive like some of the replacements listed on some RV sites.

Matched up perfect for my 06 HR Monaco with a set of Frigette steps. I did have to drill 2 of 3 holes to .25 inch but otherwise identical. Steps now go all the way in and out, let's see how long it lasts.
