A Big Hit With the Littles and the Grands!
I watch our grand kids several days a week and we've been setting up our own little playground to keep the 2 year old twins busy and help burn off some of that crazy energy. I wanted something that would provide safe exercise and inspire imaginations, and the Step2 Safari Truck Climber really fits the bill perfectly. Not only do they love climbing and sliding on it, they also love pretending to drive on their own safaris and looking for wildlife through the pretend binoculars. They've spotted many animals, including giraffes, bears and monsters, been chased by an elephant, and even almost ran into a dinosaur! This truck is super cute and surprisingly sturdy. We decided to wait on the anchors until we were sure about the location, but even without the anchors it is still super sturdy with two or sometimes three toddlers climbing on it at the same time. My 205 lb husband even climbed on it with no problems. The steps are built right into the two back wheels and blend so well that you barely notice them. Of course the kiddos had no problem figuring it out and they absolutely love their "Big truck".As for assembly, unlike many of the Step2 toys, this came with the screw holes pre-drilled. It took my husband about 1 1/2 hours to assemble it using an electric screw driver (Phillip's) and a socket wrench, and he said this was easier to put together than the Step2 picnic table we purchased at the same time.Overall, we are really happy with this truck and we've gotten a lot of compliments on it. It provides a lot of fun without taking up a lot of space in our small backyard, and the neutral safari colors look great on the lawn. The kiddos have been using it for about 3 months and it still looks brand new, and it is still very sturdy and hasn't moved at all. Now that the water toys are out, they don't play on it everyday, but it is still a favorite place to climb and hang out, and the slide makes a great race track for their toy cars and balls. We've come to love Step2 products for their quality and fun level, and this is our favorite one so far. It is a little pricey, but it feels very durable and we expect it to last many years.

Exciting and Durable Safari Truck Climber for Kids
We purchased the kids' outdoor safari truck climber for our 1 1/2 year old son and it has been a fantastic addition to our backyard. He absolutely loves climbing, sliding, and exploring every part of it.The climber is built with sturdy materials that seem to withstand energetic play and various weather conditions. Assembly was straightforward, and once set up, it provided hours of fun for him. It’s also a safe choice, with secure construction and smooth edges. Overall, this safari truck climber is a wonderful way to encourage outdoor play and creativity. It’s durable, well-designed, perfect size , priced right, and has quickly become a favorite in our family. Highly recommended for young adventurers!

Great for Older Kids, Tough for Toddlers
We're fans of Step2 products and were excited to get our hands on this one. It was a bit of a challenge to put together, but nothing we couldn't handle, and we were pretty happy with it once it was up. I'm writing this review mainly because we bought it for our 18-month-old climber, but it turned out to be quite a challenge for him to climb. Now that he's almost 2, he's a pro at climbing stuff at the playground, but the 'tire ladder' on this slide? Not so much — the steps are awkwardly spaced. Even I find it a bit tricky. So, if you're thinking about splurging on this for a toddler, you might want to check out some other Step2 products. This one seems like it would be a better fit for a 4-year-old, especially with the climbing part. Other Step2 items might be easier for the little ones to get a handle on.PS. He does love it though!

Nice climber
Single mom here. Started putting it together with my nephew and then finished by myself. Not bad, just had to drill the handle holes wider. My kids like to camp in the truck with their blankeys, they can hide under it. It’s nice because I can move it around too. It’s perfect for my 18 month old to climb by herself without my help. Good buy.
