ThunderLeash Retractable No Pull Solution Dog Leash, Large

I am so sad to have to write this bad review. My 6 month old, 60 lb. German shepherd made a mockery of the ThunderLeash Retractable No Pull . . . Leash. Oh, how I wanted it to work, but I was terrified the first time I took her out on it, as when a cause of her "pull problem" presented itself as a small, little white dog trotting along nicely with its owner and my problem child, Lily, almost pulled me down and worse, I feared for the strength of the leash tape to contain her. The leash tape is NOT secure, the holding mechanism gave way very summarily when Lily saw the little dog, I got a rope burn on my hand when I tried to reel her in manually, and I can only hope and pray that someday Miss Lily will be able to use this leash.A note of significance though is that the Seller provided me with a virtually brand new, perfectly packaged Retractable ThunderLeash for about half of what I'd have had to pay elsewhere, including Amazon. That price is why I will keep the doggone leash with optimism as to its future use.
