Amalen Dual Battery Charger Travel Kit for LP-E6/LP-E6N Battery and Canon EOS 80D, 70D, 60Da, 60D, 6D, 7D, 7D Mark II, 5D Mark II/III, 5DS/5DS R and XC10 Camcorder

It's a great item, just what I was looking for, as no longer do I have to carry 2 chargers and have to keep track of both of them. Especially in a motel or anywhere I may stay while on vacation. Both batteries are together and I don't have to run around the room looking for outlets to plug my different chargers into. This will save me a big headache in the long run. When I first received the charger I plugged it in and put 2 new batteries in the charger and before I knew it they were fully charged.

Ordered two of these travel kits in the last three years; the last order in July 2016 which was dead on arrival. Unfortunately by the time I found out it was past the 30 day return policy period. Other problems such as charging indicator lights not consistent between Canon brand and other brand of batteries ( not charging fully at times although the lights indicated it was).

This would have been perfect if it were not for the fact that you need an AC adaptor to haul around with it. The reason I bought it was so that I could lighten my load and carry one less charger, but now I am still carrying around two things for charging two batteries.

It works ok but it takes a long time to charge both batteries. I thought I would have both batteries charged in a couple of hours but after 4 hrs, I gave up waiting for it. I just left it charging and went to sleep. When I woke up the next morning, they were charged. I have no idea of how long they took to charge. I will give it another chance before giving up on it.

Just had my third charger fail on me. Granted, I use these almost daily for years - this one I marked for October 2014. So about 14 months with heavy use. Personally that makes them worth their cheap price because I just replace them when they break. Just don't expect them to last you years unless you're an occasional user.

I was excited to finally be able to charge 2 of my 3 Canon LP-E6N's, and right before I opened my package, I heard a mysterious rattling... Well, I opened the box, and didn't see anything hanging off or appearing broken, until I further inspected and lifted the battery holding tray."A-HA!" I exclaimed, as I realized one of the 3 metal charging nibs that connect to the underside of the tray was BROKEN and RATTLING INSIDE THE ITEM!Both sides charge, but I question it's effectiveness and do have some concerns about it's safety.- Returning this unit as you read this -

This is great! can do both batteries at once. not as fast as doing just one at a time, but over night it's great, plus has a plus for the car if u r traveling.. have 4 batteries and two chargers saw this and thought would give it a try. works on the Canon 7D batteries..

I like the visual indications of the status of each battery. I also like that both batteries charge simultaneously - which isn't always the case with dual chargers.
