Cheap, fun to build and fantastic to pose
Frieza is such an iconic character and this figure does him justice. I bought this not realizing that I had to build it, and I'm glad I did. It's crazy how intricate an action figure like this is. Anyway, the final product looks fantastic. He has open hands (like when they shoot energy blasts) fists and a right hand that points. It also comes with 2 heads (one calm and one smirking), an energy ball and the energy shot he does with his finger. The energy attacks have a stand and the energy ball specifically has an attachment for his arm. So, this is an action figure that shouldn't be played with because his torso and arms can pop off rather easily. Too easily for my liking but I don't really play with them anyway. He stays in any pose you want and is light so a stand can easily hold him. Even though he's a bit fragile, he looks awesome, has cool accessories and was only 20 dollars. Definitely worth the money and deserves the highest rating.

Awesome figure
I ordered 3 Figuarts (Bandai Tamashii Nations - Goku, Trunks and Vegeta) I wanted to have also the "bad guys" such as Frieza, and just loved to assemble it. So much fun and the final results turned out to be amazing. Figure-rise models also come with some power beams that make them look great. The plastic quality is lower (also the price) than Figuarts' but for it is steady and pretty descent. For displaying purposes, this one looks fantastic. Figure-Rise are a bit bigger than Figuarts but in this case it "blended" just fine. Love love my Final Form Frieza, I can't wait for Cell and Buu to arrive (also Figure-Rise. Did I mentioned how much fun was to assemble?)

Fragile, but gorgeous
This is my second Figure Rise kit, my first is Perfect Cell. I didn't want to put the money into an SH Figuarts so I went with this. It was a little aggravating to put together at times, but it wasn't a big deal. The detail and coloring are wonderful. Posing the figure can cause some frustration. The figure is very fragile and falls apart easily. However, it isn't a toy so I don't find this a big deal...just a little annoying. There are extra hands and one extra face that you can use to change things up from time to time. He comes with a fire ball prop and a finger laser prop. These two items add some cool factor to the figure. All in all, I love the figure and the price was good that I paid -- $28.00. If you don't want to put the crap ton of money into the SH Figuarts versions get this one.

Decent and definitely unique
Very unique that you have to assemble it, but it's only downfall is that it hinders the ab articulation

Definitely worth purchasing
This kit is a lot of fun to build, and the final product is great. I'm a collector of the DBZ S.H. Figuarts, and this guy makes a perfect 100% Power Frieza when displayed with the other figures. It is a bit taller than it should be, but definitely bulkier than the figuarts Frieza. Being a model kit, the final figure is lightweight compared to traditional action figures, yet still rather durable. I find the torso disconnects from the waist easily, but you can simply pop it back on. The two swap-able heads have great facial expressions. I would have enjoyed an angry or yelling face, as both of these are smiling... but I enjoy the menacing looks of these faces as well. I really like the two energy effects - the death beam can fit on the pointing hand, and the death ball attaches to the wrist via a clear plastic clip.Be careful with the clear plastic stand this comes with for the energy effects and flight - it breaks very easily and does not support the figure's weight well.

Very good, not great
Very cool and easy to build but when I was posing it the left arm snapped of and now it's fixed in place with super glue, really takes the fun out f posing it.

Great alternative to sh figuarts frieza
This model kit is actually a really good kit. It's not complicated to build and looks great. The articulation is on the same level as sh figuarts Golden Frieza,(the only Frieza I have to compare this too) but wins a few points for having more articulation in the tail over the sh figuarts one. Fair warning, a very very small amount of paint is required if you want it to be accurate (the nails on the hands, totally not required though). After the build you'll have a total of:5xhands: 2 fist, 2 "jazz" hands and 1 for the deathbeam.2xheads1deathbeam1deathball1 stand for the deathbeam, deathball and(not recommend) Frieza. It stands 5 inches tall and fits in scale with the sh figuarts dragon ball z line. It's a great kit and I'd recommend getting it if you don't want to shell out almost $300 for the sh figuarts Frieza. Also pick up Cell,Kid Buu and Ssj3 Goku. You won't regret it.
