I have been on the search for a very comfortable, yet supportive pillow for the past at least twenty-five years! First I purchased two Northern Nights machine washable down pillows which were good for many years, but I didn't like being poked with feathers every once in a while! =/ Then I purchased two different Beautyrest pillows, one being a memoryfoam which was definitely soft, but did not provide any support whatsoever! The other was very comfortable for at least a year, but went flat. Maybe two years ago I also purchased a Mainstay brand quilted pillow from Walmart. Even though it was quite comfortable for at least a year or so, eventually that one went rather flat and I had been tossing and turning for the past at least six months!After recently purchasing Organic Textiles 3" Soft Latex Mattress Topper and finding it extremely comfortable and supportive, I decided to save up and purchase their Talalay Latex Pillow that comes with a 100% organic cotton hidden zippered cover when it was 15% off a couple of weeks ago! Even though it was the most expensive pillow that I have ever purchased, it was totally worth the price that I paid!! When it arrived, it did have a latex smell to it, but after laying it out on my dining room table in front of my window for almost six days, there was no detectable smell at all! I slept on it that night (which was last night at the time that I am writing this review), and I can honestly say that I had the best night's sleep on my Organic Textiles Talalay Latex Pillow that I have had in a VERY loooong time!! I like to sleep on my side and this Talalay Latex Pillow surrounded my head with cushiony comfort! It works quite well if you sleep on your back, too! I used to always sleep on my stomach, but no longer do, so I can't speak to how comfortable this pillow is for all of you stomach sleepers out there. Five stars from me for comfort and support, but for those of you who may need a lot of support, you may want to consider the Medium or Firm if you are thinking about ordering this Talalay Latex Pillow With Organic Cotton Cover with hidden zipper from Organic Textiles. I almost didn't buy this after reading the bad reviews. There is nothing wrong with the shape or quality of this travel pillow. In fact, the latex is high quality. It's covered by a zippered muslin pillow cover. On top of that is a luxurious organic cotton envelope pillow case, which costs $25 if you order it separately - worth it! See for yourself in these unboxing photos.I tried it last night as a between-knees pillow in bed. It was super comfortable, so much better than those awful foam pillows with the curves that are so hard they hurt.

The pillow is very comfortable and the neck support is amazing. It rebounds and cradles your head in every position. I have been searching for a latex pillow for years that could compare to one I had years ago from Bed Bath and Beyond, and this is it! My sleep quality has improved greatly. Thank you for the quality and care that was put into making this pillow. It’s not flat and it’s not too high. The zipper is not even a concern. This is a very good buy. Worth every penny.

I had a latex pillow years ago and I loved it. I used goose down pillows since but they started giving me neck pain so I ordered this latex pillow. Man it's nice to have a latex pillow again, I forgot how nice it is. The head support feels great This latex pillow is a little thicker than I'd like but I know it'll break in. That's probably why they make it a bit too thick so it will break in perfectly. It's nice and firm, worth the money paid, in perfect condition, no bad odor and best of all my neck pain is gone. UPDATE: It never broke in after much use it's still as thick as ever. I still like it. Sometimes I get a stiff, sore neck then I temporarily switch to a flatter pillow.

These type of pillows are THE BEST! I had my first one as a child and didn't realize they still made them until recently. Super comfortable and I love the support and cushion. I purchased 2. Know these will last a long time and so happy to have them again!!!

I'm a big fan of latex pillows and I'm very happy with the OrganicTextiles "Talalay" organic latex pillow.I tried two versions of the organic latex pillows from OrganticTextiles. This pillow is the "Talalay" process organic latex, and I ordered the "medium" level firmness. The Talalay medium is softer (less firm) than the "Dunlop" process latex pillow, so if you want les firm try this medium Talalay. I've found that all latex pillows are very resilient and "bounce" back to their original shape every time after use.I actually prefer the Dunlop latex for a pillow under my head, as it is a little firmer, therefore providing extra support. The great thing about latex pillows is that they do not mash down like synthetic or down pillows do. I find that this Talalay latex is good for placing a pillow under my knees to take the strain off my lower back. Many people may like the Talalay better than the Dunlop, as it can be ordered softer than the Dunlop version.I find that the organic latex pillows handle heat well, and I never feel too hot next to the pillow.Both the Dunlop and Talalay latex pillows had a very slight odor after removing the packaging, but I never noticed any odor a couple of hours later when sleeping on the pillow.These two organic latex pillows (Dunlop and Talalay) are replacements for the non-organic latex pillows I purchased 15 years ago from Bed, Bath and Beyond. The old B,B&B pillows were starting to dry out and the surface of the foam was getting yellowed and powdery. I expect to get another 15 to 20 years out of these new organic late pillows.
