Great Cabinet
I really like this cabinet, well made, secure packaging, easy instructions. I was able to put it together on my own with no issues. I just wish it was taller, but I am making a base for it to meet my needs. It has a handsome faux wood grain that really looks great. The recommended cabinet to go with it however is not so great - the Naomi Carly Office Cabinet. No grain, just flat black. I’m halfway through building it and completely frustrated. Those instructions are vague as is the youtube video. It was recommended to accompany the Devaise 5 drawer wood dresser chest with cabinet which was easy to put together by myself and is beautiful and solid. THIS one has no grain, just flat black, so it doesn’t match. It also has oily rails you have to separate and hope you understand which way they go. I’m no where near finished. I’m pretty savvy putting stuff together, but I don’t recommend the Naomi cabinet to accompany this one. Stick with Devaise.

A Functional and Versatile Storage Solution For My Art Supplies
The media could not be loaded. The cabinet has become an essential part of my home office, serving as the perfect storage solution for my art and resin supplies. Its sleek black design complements my workspace, and the spacious drawers and additional storage compartment behind the door provide ample space to keep my creative materials organized and easily accessible. As an artist, I have a variety of art tools and materials, including paints, brushes, and sketchbooks. The five roomy drawers offer plenty of space to categorize and store these items, allowing me to maintain a clutter-free and efficient workspace. Additionally, the door compartment comes in handy for storing larger art canvases and resin supplies, keeping everything within reach while reducing visual clutter. While the dresser itself is well-constructed and aesthetically pleasing, I did encounter a minor inconvenience with the original plastic casters that came with the product. They felt a bit flimsy and did not provide the stability I needed for frequent movements around my workspace. To address this issue, I made a simple modification by replacing the plastic casters with stronger metal ones that feature rubber wheels and built-in brakes. This upgrade has significantly improved the mobility and stability of the dresser, making it easier for me to access my art and resin supplies whenever I need them.Overall, the cabinet has proven to be an excellent addition to my home office. Its functionality, ample storage, and stylish appearance have greatly enhanced my creative workspace. If you're an artist or crafter looking for an efficient and attractive storage solution, I highly recommend considering this dresser. With a few adjustments, such as upgrading the casters, it becomes a practical and versatile asset for keeping your art and resin supplies organized and ready to use.

Nice cabinet. Assembly was a bit rough.
I like this cabinet. It's sturdy (for what it is) and works really well for what I need it for (organizing office supplies). I wouldn't suggest using in as a step stool or anything like that, but I am considering buying a second one (not for a step stool). My only complaint is that assembly is a bit rough. So, a few tips/observations:DO NOT use the included screwdriver. I did for the first 1/3 of the job and now have 2 torn blisters on my hand. I was listening to a live stream and didn't want to walk away to get my cordless screwdriver. Poor life choice. Note to self: use your wireless headphone, nitwit! But DO NOT use your screwdriver on high speed and be as "gentle" with the screws as you can be (not always possible with this). The bottom inserts for the drawers go ONE way. They look like they could go either way, but if backwards, the holes will not line up with the rails correctly(-ish... they don't REALLY line up, tbh). But they're bendy, so you can pop them out and get them back in without disassembling if you notice while you're trying to line up the rails properly. Not that I would have any experience with this. I /definitely/ didn't get 3 out of 5 wrong. Yeah. For sure didn't do that. Nope. There are retainer clips to keep the backing boards in nice and stable. I like these, they're a nice touch. Maybe my favorite for this build (I'm easily amused). What I am not enamored with is the instruction step that shows their installation. It took me forever to figure out where they went, what they were for, and how they were oriented and installed. Once I did, it was obvious. Many of the screws are difficult to drive in straight, in part due to holes not quite lining up. This was particularly problematic with the rails attached to the inside of the cabinet. If the screws are not flush, they will cause the drawers to catch and not slide smoothly. I had to go back and correct three. I still have one that has a barely perceptible bump in the slide, but I can't be bothered to fix it. I'll use that drawer for things no one uses anymore. Like stamps and envelopes. Mail? Do we have that anymore?I also hate casters. But that's a rant for another time. There were multiple extras of every piece of hardware except the "big" pieces (like rails and hinges). I didn't need any extra, but it's nice to know if I spilled all the little screws, I'd be able to find enough of them in my pile carpeting to finish the build and could find the rest walking barefoot in my office over the next year or so. My tetanus shot is up to date. I think.
