Doesn’t fit

I spent too much time trying to find a suitable fitting to this item, but unfortunately to no success, the connection is based on metric measurements not the regular inches, so better check before making the order

I do not know why bidets aren’t more common here in Canada. This machine is great, cleans the area well and makes you feel 100% clean. I honestly miss this when I’m at other places. It was fairly easy to install, the instructions were clear and I installed this on my own without issues. I’ve had this installed for 4 days now no leaks and no issues. I will forever have a bidet. This would be wonderful for those with reaching/ mobile issues, better to have water on you than poo.

UPDATE AFTER 4 YEARS: May 2017 Still working great. Does what it was doing from day 1. No breakage, no issue with dials, nozzles or material. Nothing got dirty or worn out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Awesome product. Does what is it advertised and then some. Specially anyone who already uses water/M Showers/Lota , this product is a most comfortable and hassle free at a good price. We are getting more and friends are informed of this and are ordering. GO FOR IT, Cant go wrong here. One thing to consider is the connection you have coming from water line to the flush tank. If it is slightly old style with the metal tubing/pipe fitted/welded on it, you will have to replace it with one with where a flexible tubing can fit. Home depot has the new knob and tubing both under total of $15. For this, outside water connection needs to be turned off and then this thing installed. Takes less than 1hr for the whole thing total. I had a plumber or handy man do it for me for $30. If already using water cleaning, females will never have to use anything but a turn of knob. Males will never need anything for posterior wash. Male frontal wash is not covered by this or any other bidet. It may also serve as stimulator for constipation on higher pressure setting (enema!) Normally setting # 2 is the most you need for normal wash. It can go to 5-6! Imagine that.. The two nozzles (anyone can use whatever setting they prefer and you may have to wiggle your body for 10-15 secs just to be really happy, a breeze) is great and self cleaning feature is very good. Off course there is no air dryer so a pat by toilet paper is all that is required by all. Leaves you fully cleanesed and with fresh feeling. FOR TESTING YOU MUST ALWAYS BE SEATED ON THE TOILET OR HAVE A SHIELD IN FRONT OR A BUCKET IN FRONT OF THE NOZZLE TO SEE IT WORK, IF YOU MUST. There I said it all and hopefully this is as detailed (or gross) as you want to hear. So far in past two weeks this is working like a charm..

The T connector supplied does not fit standard Australian Plumbing fittings. There are NO adapters that I can find to fit it. I tried everywhere 3 plumbing suppliers and 2 engineering shops. Nothing. In the end I cut away the collar of one connector vary carefully with a dremel leaving a brass inner that I soldered/brazed to a standard AU plumbing thread. Not easy and pretty much impossible for most DIY customers with limited engineering resources and experience. I highly recommend that the supplier withdraw it from AU markets or supply it with a fitting we can use or at least adapt. I think UK customers will probably have the same issue as I suspect this is an american Imperial thread. 3 stars because the product is actually quite nice. I would buy another one if it had this issue sorted.
