Kitchen Craft Medium-Small Plastic Pudding Basin with Lid, 570 ml (1 Pint)

Made two successful christmas puddings using this vessel in a covered sauce pan for steaming. Washed well in the dishwasher. However, I strongly suggest adding a foil layer as the lid did become loose during both steaming processes. The foil protected the contents though. The size was great for a more intimate party.

I didn't realize that the basins were being shipped from the UK so too longer than I thought. The bowls themselves are good but the top is not airtight, maybe that is because the pudding ingredients have to expand. All in all they wre good value for money and would buy again the next time I make Plum Puddings

I already had one of the 2 pint Kitchen Craft Pudding Basins, so I knew that I liked them. I thought the 1 pint size would be good for individual main course puddings. I decided to give them a try when I was making a dessert pudding last evening with a 2 pint recipe, and they worked brilliantly. With the snap on lid, the second pudding should stay quite fresh until opened.

I purchased these to cook and store Christmas Puddings. The size was minuscule and nowhere near the size of my china pudding basins that ate supposedly the same capacity. As soon as these came out of the steamer, the lids fell off. The no longer seal at all. A complete waste of money.

I made Christmas pudding in this one too and it also came out perfectly. It was super useful having the measurements on the lid, and the lid seals nice and tight

Perfect for those steamed syrup/ jam sponge,don't forget the custard.yummy!

Was far to small

The bowl is OK for microwave usage, not a decent size for a steamed pudding

My 1st order arrived minus a lid, but this was very quickly replaced. I made my Christmas pudding in the slow cooker, seems to have done an excellent job.
