Pricey but it works.
I've this product for a year now and it's still holding up pretty well. Not too sure if it's worth the $30 I paid for it (plus the shipping cost on top of that). But I guess it's really the convenience that you're paying for. You could buy everything this is made out of for about $5-$10 to make it yourself. Most people would rather pay for someone else to do it for them. Sadly I am one of those people. Like a previous reviewer said, It's absolutely no frills. It's a piece of pine with holes drilled into it and dowels stuck in those holes. When I received it some of the dowels were lose. A little bit of Liquid nails fixed that right up. Over the course of the last year a few more have also come lose. Easily fixed though. It's a good product. It works like its supposed to. It holds all nine of my softball bats just fine. Just a bit overpriced. I'm still very much satisfied with it. I think three stars is an average product. Four stars being a very good product. This falls somewhere in between. But since you can't use half stars I rounded up to four.

The rack is good solid wood
The rack is good solid wood. It is unfinished and you can paint or stain it. The main problem I had was the width between pegs was a little wide for some youth bats and can fall out. I bought some PVC pip can cut them to the correct length and put them over top the wood pegs. It solved the problem.

Just what I was looking for!
The only reason I won't give this product 5 stars is because it is pricey. I hung it in my garage to display bats stored in my basement from my children's childhoods so my grandchildren might be tempted to use them. It worked! The grandkids have asked to play a few times already. Pretty good since winter came on shortly after receiving this rack.

No frills functional rack.
This rack was a quick solution for a number of bats that I had lying around but after seeing its very simple construction, I will probably make the next one myself. This is no more than several small dowel pieces glued into a board. It's definitely "no frills" which is exactly what I needed, but if you want something fancier, look at other options.

The bats fit fine, but the piece is unfinished
The bats fit fine, but the piece is unfinished. We sanded and spray painted to make it look more presentable for use inside the house.

Bat rack
Bare bones rack foots the bill. It had to be stained but it does a good job of holding several bats well.

JUNK!
Rip Off! Cheapest piece of junk I ever purchased. Dowels are crooked, and are not even spaced in equidistant intervals. Do not throw your money away on this! In retrospect, I wish I had bought a piece of 1x6 and a dowel rod, and paid my six year-old Grandson to build it.
