Nice but I'm already having issues...*see update*
As others have said, it has issues. I've had this setup for a day with the GPS and so far the GPS works well, the sound and picture are decent. Picture at night isn't very good quality. I've been through the different light options and the picture is still very dark. The motion detection does not work! I've enabled it through the menu. The only thing I can think of, is that it needs to have continuous power and change the menu settings and hopefully you don't have to turn it on and off manually when enter and exit the vehicle for long periods of time. The recording seems to just stop at times. It will record while driving and then maybe the last ten minutes of the drive didn't record at all. Not sure yet what is causing that. I like that this unit can be hidden but with all the issues it seems to have you need to be able to access it so you can play with settings to figure this thing out. So until you are able to get this unit operating correctly and without any issues, you won't be able to hide it. I want to hide my cameras and the unit itself so it cannot be found should my vehicle be broken into so can ID the thief(this has already happened once and the camera I currently have didn't have parking mode or motion detection) so it's important to me that I can hide the unit and use motion detection. And at this point, motion detection not working and it doesn't record all the time while driving. Disappointed.*Update*I checked the 128gb sd card after a full 2 weeks of use and it stopped recording after 7 days. i set it up to loop record. it may have looped but the videos were out of order on the sd card so its hard to tell. Finally got the motion detection to work. I just changed some settings and it started working. not sure what was preventing it. So i had a lot of motion detection videos recorded but my concern is that i had 4.5 gb of space remaining on the sd card but it stopped recording. It was supposed to loop and even woth 4.5 gb remaining it still should have recorded more video before having to loop record. I wiped the sd card clean, re-installed the sd card to find that the unit is no longer powering on. called amazon, they promptly sent me a mew unit(offered to refund but wanted to try abother one instead) and its installed now and working. I will update again if i run into more issues.

Great system if you put a little time into it
Iâve had this system for several years now. Transferred it to two different cars and for the most part it has performed very well. I had some issues initially with it overheating but I had placed the main unit in a cramped space which likely was much of the problem. It does run a little hot even in the glove box. Donât plan on stuffing it into a tiny cubby or burying it in the dash. Youâll want to have easy access to the micro SD slot on the side and to be able to see the red light on the front to confirm it is working / recording. Not sure why one of the other reviews indicated trouble viewing recordings on another device. Iâve used both a little 4â video screen and a remote WiFi transmitter to view on my cell phone with no issues. Itâs much easier to pull the micro SD card and view videos on a computer but for roadside review of recordings either of the above should work.Only reason for four stars instead of five is that I find that I have to empty the SD card every so often. If I donât the unit will override the more recent recordings rather than the oldest first. Iâve used several different class 10 cards and alternated between 64 G and 128 G but the results are the same. It also seemed to record shorter bursts when the card was full.If youâre handy and can run a few wires under the moldings around the windshield and doors the system is virtually invisible with only two little cameras showing on front / rear windows. If youâre a âtake it out of the box and stick it to the windshieldâ person this is not the one for you. The main unit has three thick mini usb cables attached to the back (front cam, Rear cam, Power cord) and two earphone style 1/8â plugs on the side (microphone and video output). It looks a bit like an electronic spider when itâs all wired up so you wonât want it just laying out on the dash or sitting out in the cup holder. As I said my unit is several years old so they may have addressed this issue already. The US Customer service was excellent and responsive. No contacting foreign countries or language barriers is a real plus!! I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone that is not put off by the little quirks above.

Awesome camera, even better customer support!
This is an awesome little dashcam system. I've been using mine for 4 months now, I love it. The cameras are tiny and discrete (minus the little green led on the back of them - I put a small piece of black electrical tape over mine, but it's not that noticable even without it). From the outside of the car, you won't even notice the cameras unless I point them out to you. The video quality is great in the day, and still pretty good at night. I think it would be nice if it had automatic brightness gain, but it's still good as is. The best selling point that you don't really see before purchasing, however, is Raytis customer support. You can contact them through Facebook and they always respond promptly. I've had a number of conversations with them, and they're always helpful. I had to have my DVR replaced, and they sent me a new one within 45 minutes of first messaging me, sent from Amazon with 2 day prime shipping. No hassle, no headache. That alone is worth the price of the unit. I cannot recommend Raytis enough, the customer support is phenomenal!
