I was a little concerned about the quality, as these were not expensive, but they have held up perfectly. The badge retracts well without kinking or sticking, and the colors are great. I keep them in my locker, just in case, but have been using the same one for months without any problems. Nice product!

not high quality but works fine

I gave this 4 stars because these things never last, but it's not too terrible because it came with so many. They each last about 2 weeks (which is good for cheap badge holders), but always have 2 with you. They don't give you a warning before they break.

Hey, it's not like you have high expectations for a product like this. Do what they're made for without issues, and last a decent amount of time. No initial quality issues, and lasting well so far, so they are just fine for the price.

Covering over wire came apart almost immediately.

These hold my work badge perfectly. They clip onto my shirt and stay there. I don't have to wear a stupid lanyard anymore (I HATE lanyards). The clip was a little stiff on the back when I first used it but I think thats going to be a good thing -- so far it hasn't loosened up one bit. Its long enough for me to badge into work and clock in for the day without being super close to the time clock (Like I had to be with my lanyard).

I love these clear ID holders as they don't stand out as much against different color clothing. I use the it to hold my ID badge and clip it to the edge of my shirt between the top two buttons. Great quality items for price.I also bought some much more expensive KEY-BAK MINI-BAK ID holders by West Coast Manufacturing. Those are slightly better quality, however I ended up preferring these cheaper ones for the following reasons:* Available in clear, but with the slimmer steel belt clip* Longer extension string* Thicker extension stringOf course the best of both worlds would be the above features from West Coast, since those are made in USA and are definitely higher quality.

These are a great deal for the price. I needed a retractable reel for my badge for work. I was under the impression when I purchased it that it clipped with an alligator clip - not a sliding clip. Depending on what I'm wearing, it can be difficult to find an area on my clothing to attach my badge. I think an Alligator clip would've been much more useful - at least for me.
