Logitech MX 1100 Cordless Laser Mouse
This mouse is great! It's comfortable, the button layout is almost perfect for ones hand. It's definitely designed to fit perfectly in your hand. The only problem (I don't think this really classifies as a problem though) is my pinky hangs off the end and sort of slides across my mouse pad, so it creates a little friction (not to say that this mouse is small or anything, its actually a pretty big mouse). But other than that there's pretty much nothing else I have a problem with, the shipping was damn fast so i have nothing on that either.I recently started light gaming with this mouse (Fallout: NV, TF2), and its actually pretty nice for gaming. Obviously it doesn't stack up to the $100 dollar gaming mouses out there, but its not bad. The dpi buttons are great for lining up shots for sniping, and quickly changing to the faster speed for runnin' n gunnin'.The software is great too, easy to download, if u didn't receive the software on disk (like me...), just go to the Logitech site and type in the mouse name, and bam, the software is there. The software allows you to program each button to do whatever you want them to do. Like the awesome little stealth button on the thumb, I use that little bad boy for the push-to-talk button on Steam, and obviously using it for what its designed for (application switcher), which is also pretty great when using multiple applications. The fast scroll button comes in handy when reading long articles (the software also allows you to enable a smooth scroll, so there's no little jumps when scrolling, its just smooth sailin). The battery life is great, ive had this for about a month in a half, and its at 90%, so you don't have to stock up on AA batteries (unless you want to..).So, in closing, I give this mouse a 5, because I basically have no problems with it, its a great mouse. Not the best for gaming, but it'll allow you to keep up with those who have actual gaming mouses. For those who dont really play games, this is your mouse, its got everything you need to surf the web, read documents, and using multiple applications at once, and its very comfortable to use for a long period of time.

Awesome mouse, wish it were usable by ambidextrous/left handed people
This mouse lost 1 star on two counts:1. Cannot be used by ambidextrous/left handed people2. Is a tad heavy and lends to wrist fatigueI love the size and curvature of the mouse (as opposed to many really tiny mice nowadays). The design allows it to fit well in your hand. Unfortunately it does not come with a micro usb receiver, but that's usually not a problem if you are not using it on the go (I have it hooked up to my desktop). It works fine on most surfaces, but like most mice fails on glass and certain weird patterned surfaces. Uses 2 AA battery's that last about 4-5 months until they need replacement. The spin wheel switch allows for an easy toggle between free wheeling (goes endlessly and useful for long pages) and slotted wheeling (when you have to scroll 2-3 lines per notch). The mouse has 4 buttons (2 on the top rocker and 2 on the side). The side back button is very easy to handle, the front requires a bit of repositioning of the hand, but is not too much of a hassle. The top rockers are fairly useless unless you are a person who uses the mouse with 3 fingers on top (index for the top rocker + first button, middle for the scroll wheel and ring for the right). I barely use the top rockers so it doesn't seem to impede my use of the mouse.I've rarely seen the mouse act spotty and lose signal, but it has a decent range. For the desktop I have placed below my desk, which is about 2 ft away from where my mouse is placed, it works relatively well (its usually the battery dying when it starts to act wonky). The weight is just a tad bit more for my liking, but it is not bad at all. A little weight on the mouse adds for more smooth handling than an extremely light weight mouse.Overall this mouse has stood up to its 4 years of being badgered by my usage. Would definitely recommend this to any right handed person looking to buy a quality mouse.

Best mouse ever!!
Love, love this mouse!!In recent months, I've been working on my computer almost constantly - and I have tried about 6-8 mice to find one that really fits my hand and is easy to use for long periods. This is THE ONE!!I previously had been using the MX Revolution for several months - and before that the Logitech G7, the Logitech VX Nano cordless, a couple Microsoft mice, etc.The MX Revolution is a great mouse, too, but from the outset, it never fit my hand that great - I think you need like an abnormally long thumb or something for it to feel right. And the VX Nano is too small for continuous daily use (unless maybe if you have really small hands). But both these mice are just super high quality devices - the speed wheel and the smoothness of the buttons, etc. are fantastic. Lots of customization options (though I'm not a big user of these). But my hand's been aching of late using the MX Revolution, so I thought I'd take another look at the Logitech lineup to see if anything new to try.So now I've got the MX 1100 and it is a TOTAL WINNER. This one has the great speed wheel and the smooth buttons. I can't really comment on the customization options since I don't really use them - but they look easy to use and so on.But perhaps the most important thing is that it really fits my hand well. Since I have reasonably normal sized hands, I expect it would fit most people's hands well, too. The ergonomic improvement over the MX Revolution is instantly obvious the second you put your hand on it - the shape is just right and it simply feels more comfortableI also really like that this one runs on batteries. I found the MX Revolution recharging a real pain cause it was always dying when you needed it most. I ended up keeping 2 mice around at all times so I'd have something to use while the Revolution was recharging.Overall, this is a well designed, superstar product! It's a bit pricey, but well worth the money for most any computer user - whether you're a poweruser, a regular office worker, or anybody else who spends a few hours a day on a computer.
