Q: it claims to be a soft-sweep broom; are the bristles gentle enough to not scratch a wax-polished surface of a wood floor? Thanks, in advance!

the bristles are very gentle. i have used this on a wax floor, but NOT wooden floor. it has proven to be a good product so much so i ordered 5 additional ones to keep. but, it's also Amazon, purchase it and feel if you like it keep it, if not, return it. amazon, has given me zero problems about returning merchandise.

Q: Is the squeegee blade solid rubber? Looking at the end of the rubber, it looks hollow. Like a bigger piece of rubber was folded in half.

Blade looks and feels solid. From the side, the blade is a wedge, measures about 1 cm thick where it attaches to the broom head and tapers to about 0.2 cm at outer edge.

Q: Pieces don’t fit together

Yeah my husband threw it in the garage because we could not get the pieces to connect even after watching a youtube about it.

Q: I work at dominos. That means there’s corn meal everywhere, very small like dirt particles. Will this broom be good for the corn meal and tile?

I’d think it’d be great for that. I use this broom for sweeping up fine sand and dust frequently.
