I ordered the shade Fair but it is way too dark - even with the smallest amount it's far too dark to use. Disappointed, was a waste of money.

This correction powder truly lives up to its name. It brightens my skin and leaves me with a glow. The packaging makes the application process very easy. It is truly more than just a powder.

This review is my own opinion and others will differ due to different skin tones, any blemishes etc. My skin is mixed race, and has dark blemishes. I have seen this product advertised for a very long time now and decided to purchase it based on reviews. It is a shame you cannot go into a store and try the product on your skin before you buy, as I would never have brought it. This product suits people where they are blessed with a good complexion, only requiring a minimal amount of coverage. I was expecting this amazing powder product that hides blemish and evens skin tones, giving an amazing glow. It was darker than expected, it did not brighten my skin only darken it. It did not correct, balance any of my skin tone, in fact the opposite giving it a darker muddier tone. It does not work for people who do have marks and blemish that you want to hide. I did not feel confident at all and I am afraid it is in the bin. If you have good skin and want minimal coverage then this is perfect for you as it is light and feels weightless on the skin. If you have any blemishes, like to hide this, prefer good even coverage then this is not the product that will provide you with that.

Before ordering, I spent a long time looking at the Laura Geller website to find the right shade. In the end, I purchased a shade that was lighter than I thought I needed, but it was still too dark for me. I decided to keep it for summer, when I am tanned, and I purchased another shade still lighter. That shade was a far better match for me. I also purchased a highly reviewed applicator brush. People rave about this product online, so I had high expectations. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. Yes, it covers well and it does even out your complexion. However, I already have a fairly even complexion, but I do have some dark spots. It reduced those spots, but it did not cover them, so I still need a concealer. I've been using the product for a couple of weeks now, and yesterday for a change I switched back to my old powder foundation (which costs only about 1/3) as much. Honestly, I could not tell the difference! I think the Laura Geller is a little lighter and a little more sheer, but for the price, I think I will go back to the other foundation.
