Not a good choice for Linux
I am trying to run Debian Linux 11 Alpha on this laptop. The GPU, WiFi and Bluetooth do not work from a clean install. The wifi can be fixed by compiling a fixed driver from GitHub. The GPU I am not sure about, it currently is using LLVM with a resolution of 1024x768.I installed Virtual Box on Windows and installed Debian 11 Alpha 3 on it and it works great. I only gave it two processors and 4 Gig of ram. Installing virutal box guest extensions did not work out well though due to debian missing kernel headers.I just ordered a USB Wifi dongle that supports Linux. I will try to install AMD-GPU firmware and AMD Firmware from non-free to see if it makes any difference.I like this laptop but it's lack of linux support is a game stopper. I should have bought an Asus Zenbook, I was going to but then decided to by this HP Laptop because it was cheaper and had almost the same performance.

Acaba de llegar!Demoró apenas 3 semanas en llegar a Chile desde Estados Unidos, se adelantó incluso una semana según lo estimado inicialmente.Viene todo tal cual la descripción, me agradó mas de lo que esperaba, un diseño elegante, metálico casi en su totalidad, super liviano, fácil de configurar, y obviamente muy rápido.100% recomendado tanto el producto como el vendedor.

I was a bit nervous about ordering a laptop online, for delivery to Mauritius (a little island in the Indian Ocean). Delivery was prompt, quicker than expected and absolutely hassle-free. The laptop is exceeding my expectations: very light, super fast, easy to set-up, the perfect purchase for my home office. Additional bonus: contrary to one of the comments on the product page, this laptop DOES have a touch screen ...I definitely recommend it!

Hardware quality is good, but...
Unfortunately a lot of unnecessary programs of HP are added. Leaving the laptop untouched for some time, makes it throw out an error and restart immediately once I touch either the touchpad or the keyboard. I am seriously thinking about clean installation of Windows 10 with minimum HP programs.P.S. I like the keyboard. It is way better than on ASUS Zenbook 14.
