Built to last
Have had this fan outdoors on my deck for over a year (fans are one of the most effective mosquito deterrents). Still works like a champ after being uncovered, out in the elements for all that time. Would buy again, but don’t think I’ll need to for a long time.

Too nice to put outside
Ok purchased this for our patio but it’s too nice…lol. We have it in our living room and it’s really nice. Moves air nicely. Between the 2 ceiling fans and this we have not set up an air conditioning in the living room this year. A few days I wanted to but overall it’s been good.

The finish was peeling off when I opened the box.
Nice heavy fan. Well built. However, the finish is peeling off. Came out of packaging that way. The fan quit oscillating and returned in less than 30 days. Too expensive to go bad so quickly.

Nice decor piece that's rather loud in operation
Fan is easy on the eyes, but somewhat shorter than I'd envisioned even when fully extended. Fan is, as others have noted, quite loud. This is not due to the motor itself as the motor turns quietly. It's the blade design that makes it loud. The four blades in the 18" housing are barely sloped at all, save for the very edge of each blade, which is sharply upturned. This quick bend 'chops' the air, making the fan sound like an airplane propeller even at low settings. (fan is in the basement and I can easily hear it upstairs, through the floor and insulation, even when it's on low). As I'd placed it in an office for summer cooling, I'm finding it too loud to keep it on when doing a phone meeting as the sound both transmits across the phone (even with a Blue Parrot noise reducing Bluetooth headaet) and makes it so loud in the room that I can barely hear the caller. The quick bend in the blade makes for good air movement, but only in the middle band of the blade housing (center and edge of blade cage shows very little if any air movement.)Fan includes a cover for the motor head in outdoor use scenarios to protect from elements.A nice decorator piece that may prove more at home outdoors or on a three season porch than inside a room, due to fan blade loudness. Motor is likely cheaply made as the visual appeal seems to be the design focus. Too new to know about longevity. Will update if it dies.

Fan
This is a heavy duty outdoor fan that has some significant power. We use it on the deck to help move air around. When we are done we cover it with the cover that came along. This fan seems expensive but I am sure it is going to outlast many of the fans we have had in the past that just have fallen apart after one summer season.

Front bearing is squeaking.
I’ve only used this fan a couple of times and now it squeaks when it runs. No way to fix it. Very disappointed.

Pretty Cheesy.
Pretty cheesy fan for $200. It s actually quite tacky looking but by the time I got all of the pieces out of the box and unwrapped, I didn't think I could repack it to send it back. Finish is a bronze color with brush strokes and the fan blade is a copper color. I is also very noisy. Save your money...

Easy to put together
Easy to put together, sturdy stand, fan looks great out on patio and keeps air circulating good with 4-6 people. Everything is great about it. In the future I would extend the length to be a few inches taller.
