Perfect gift for kids
Such an adorable game and for for kids and the whole family. We also really enjoyed playing this on our game night! Can get difficult for our 4 year old but no problem to change things up for her or put her on a team. Nice twist to the regular Life

Simple Mario-Themed Game That Kids Will Enjoy
We got this for our kids for Christmas because they love Mario, and it’s been a hit with them! There’s not much skill involved, but there are just enough choices to make it feel like you’re doing more than just spinning the wheel and seeing what happens. One thing to be aware of is the “gotcha” cards. They let you steal someone else’s star (which normally takes a few turns to earn), coins, or even make someone skip their turn. It can get frustrating, especially for younger players, but it does add some unpredictability to the game.Another thing to note is one of the “minigames” involves a thumb war. If the youngest player lands on it, they probably won’t stand a chance, so we made a home rule to even things out.Overall, it’s a fun and easy family game that captures the Mario vibe. If your kids love Mario, they’ll probably enjoy this one!

Grandson loved this
My 11 yr old grandon is a Mario fan and loves board games. He had played the "original" life game that was at my house and loved it, so I thought this would be a prefect gift for his December birthday.

Fun Game, Great To Play With All Ages
This is a really fun game with vibrant colors. The figures are made very well and of good quality and detail. This is a game my 4 year old can play easily even though he can't yet read. Our entire family enjoys it. The different actions and little mini games you play are always fun and things my four year old can do.I only gave it four stars because it's nothing at all like the original game of LIFE.

Mario for LIFE
First off, the game itself is just so AWESOME and then adding mario to the classic game of life is just the cherry on top! This is one of my favorite games!

Pleasantly surprised by how fun this is!
For the record, this is nothing like the original Game of Life (fortunately in my opinion!). Certain characteristics make it similar (like the way the board is laid out, how you put the stars on your player (instead of babies) and the spinner), but the game is a more straightforward board game that kids of all ages (mine are 4 and 8 and equally enjoy this game) can understand and play easily. My 4 year old especially is a huge Mario Brothers fan, so he really enjoyed all aspects of this game and the "mini-games" within the game (highest spin defeats a bad guy, etc.) It is really cute how they incorporated so many Mario-related elements which kept both of my kids engaged. It is a simple play once you get the hang of it and since you do not "need" to collect a stay of every color (doing so increases your likelihood of defeating Bowser in the end only), then the play-time can be shorter if needed. Either way, my kids always want to collect all the stars because that is half the fun!
