We use this book alongside our kindergarten curriculum and it is so beautifully done. My 5 year old enjoys looking at the illustrations. The descriptions are perfect, in that there isn't too much to where it's overwhelming but also not worded for little kids only. It's great!

A beautiful, sturdy, vintage looking natural history book. A great overview of the world we live in & the animals we share it with. I read it to my 5 yo grandson, but the rest of our adult family loves this book as well. Attractive enough for your coffee table. A great overview of nature.

We haven’t had a lot of time to resd it yet but our initial goance has left us thrilled! Big, beautiful book with very artistic and vintage-style illustrations. My daughter loved the book jacket poster; nice touch! These are the types of books you want to collect for your children as they are gorgeous, substantial and educational. Highly recommend!

Beautiful art, and reference book. We use this for many science related projects. Teaches things directly, openly, and efficiently. The art is wonderful to look at. Some aorta are more vague than others, but that’s expected as not all science books can fit everything into their pages and must be selective. We live using it often and it’s been a wonderful addition to our library at home.

This is such a cool book. As a teacher there are a ton of cool lessons and interactive s you could use this book for. There is really cool images and I think it is something that is great for learning. It is also cool to have this in your classroom library.

I am a horticulturist and lover of the natural world.I bought this book for a grand niece and nephews. I looked over before gifting and thought it was extremely well done! The art is beautiful and the information is engagingly presented. I will purchase for other relatives in the near future. The internet might be a great resource for information, but this book is a physical, hold in your hand, inspirational piece that teaches you things you didn't know to ask and makes you want to learn more.

This book is amazing. It has beautiful graphics and fascinating information about the natural world. My daughter loves it and we have bought it many times as a gift for others. We recommend it!

An absolute gem of a book. I bought it for my Y4/5 class, but am absolutely loving it myself, and tempted to buy another copy for my coffee table!! Stunning illustrations and fabulous text .. a real treat of a book.

This book consists of some 67 illustrated charts grouped broadly into 3 sections; Habitats, Species & Adaptations and is packed full of fascinating facts about the natural world and the animals that populate it. It's the illustrations though that really make this book special - they are absolutely beautifully done. Even the dust jacket itself unfolds into a huge wall poster. We bought this for our daughter's 9th birthday. She loves animal facts and adores this book. Can't recommended highly enough!
