Love these combs! My old comb was one I have had since 1966. I still use it, but the end 3 teeth fell off, so I really wanted a sturdy wide-tooth comb. I can never find one to my liking in the store.The photos for this looked to be thick and sturdy enough for my liking.So happy with this purchase!

These combs work great to detangle wet hair and they are beautiful to look at. They are so smooth and comfortable in your hand. I really like them!

You only want to get this comb with the tooth width pictured if you have a thick beard. If you have a thinner beard, goatee, etc, it's too big. Gave these to two friends at church whom the Lord blessed with thick beards. They were very happy.

Sandalwood, by far, is the best smelling wood. As a guy with longer curly hair, I try to take care of it as much as I can so I can keep rocking that viking look. With these, I'm pulling out less hair and I'm able to get knots out of my hair. It was either use these, or comb with my hands. I've used many other brush types, and this seems to work pretty well with curly hair in general. As for whatever other users are talking about, surprise surprise: wood is fibrous and it will shed some. Calm down.
