Great tripod head
I purchased this to replace the head of a top brand tripod that was not Arca swiss & very awkward to use! This head is so much easier to use & seams very well made.

Very impressed.
I have used a lot of ball heads over the years, but I have to say this Innorel G40 ball head is the best. Beside the usual lower panning knob bellow the ball it has a top panning release lever so you can pan the top plate, and it has a bubble level so you make sure its level before fitting the camera. A very useful addition to my photo gear.

Decent product-but buy new!
The product was bought as " used-like new" at a relatively small discount. The condition of the ball-head was indeed very good, but the package contained only the ball head and one arca plate rather than the two advertised (which I wanted) and no thread adapter for the mounting screw. Buying a second plate made the package more expensive than a new one! I returned the package and decided to try one of the more expensive Innorel offerings-the V44. In use the V44 has the edge and is close to a five star rating. However, the G40 still appears to be very good value for money and can be recommended. I can't comment on the longevity of the product. If the discount for used items is given because the package is incomplete, it should be stated.

Well-made but very poor design
The manufacturing quality is good I have no complaints about this. The problem is the design. When the ball head is used with its 90-deg tilt (using the recess) the screw-adjusters on the top plate and the arca swiss clamp collide with the body of the head, rendering the top panaramic function unable to move through its full movement (barely +/- 20 degrees). All it needed was a properly designed (slightly longer) neck on the ball head to fix this, but in reality all they did was put a second panoramic plate on top of an existing ball head design with a short neck. If you have two panoramic movements advertised on a head, you expect to be able to use them, it is simply not fit for purpose. The 90-deg tilt using the recess is also not even close to 90 deg, this and the problem with the colliding adjusters will result in long-term damage to the body of the head. Also despite the supplier booking the service with the courier shortly after ordering, they did not get it to the courier until many days after, and so was too late to meet delivery date. 5 stars for manufacturing quality, 1 star for the poor design, overall 2 stars.

Gives Nothing Away
Both my wife and I are keen photographers having gradually fallen into the hobby over the last few years. As such we did what many have done and built up equipment randomly until we reached a cupboard full of mismatched accessories - in this case a number of tripods and camera mounts that were not cross compatible. So, we decided to rationalise and because we share the same cameras and lenses we decided that all camera mounts would be Arca-Swiss because that's the most ubiquitous standard. It also means my temper isn't tested walking two miles down a beach only to discover I'd put the wrong shoe on my camera and rendered my days photography DOA.Which in a rambling way brings me to this. We have Vanguard and Manfrotto tripods, ball heads and mounts and in a combination of changing clamps and replacing ball heads we arrived here as we needed one more ball head. And, given the already eye watering amounts of money invested (that's hobbyist speak for 'blown') I figured we would try a no-name.And.... it's superb. There is no difference in quality between this and high end brands. In fact price for price this is better.Quality of construction is first class with a genuinely high end feel and heft to it. The adjustment locks are easy to use with big alloy knobs that can be used even wearing gloves. In use it's smooth and almost oily. It's dampened and that means a slick judder free movement that is a tactile treat.Overall I honestly feel this is as goof if not better than many name brands double the price. Can't argue with that.
