Animal Power book is so much more than a book! It is an experience and a portal into divine connection to the wisdom, magic and medicine of 100 different animals. You can feel the spiritual connection and aliveness emanating from the beautiful words, written and channeled by Alyson Charles and vibrant illustrations painted by the late great Willian Santiago. My favorite way to use this book is as a guidance and divination tool - I hold the book to my heart as I set an intention, or ask an intuitive question, and then I allow the book to fall open to any page in order to connect with spiritual guidance through animal power and wisdom! It's a powerfully mystical practice that never fails to bring me great expansion and joy! I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to connect with the essences and the wisdom of Animals and Spirit. I've been following Alyson on Instagram and love her energy. If you are unfamiliar with working with animals and their important messages, it might feel a bit odd initially, but then you get hooked. If you're already in alignment, you know it becomes your intuitive default! It took me awhile to order the book, idk why, but once I did and receive it, I was overjoyed! I'll order more because Animal Power makes a beautiful gift! I wanted to dive into the book but I waited until that night after dinner, when I had carved out some sacred time to read through the dedication, introduction, and how to get started before I dove into the pages with the animals (it was really tempting because the colorful illustrations of the animals are so vibrant and really make the book more inviting). You can tell she was so thougthful with writing about each animal as well as connecting with the right illustrator, William Santiago, to capture the energy essence of the animals. Bravo to you both, this is so well done. I've only read through 5 of my spirit animals, after having a local shaman tell me about three animals that were in her vision during our session as well as two that I've always resonated with. So I've only read about those five but wow, the energy medicine is so spot on. I love how 100 animals are represented - when to work with them, their energy medicine and then a meditation practice to conenct with them too. I can't wait to work with more, but this is a book that I've been keeping on my desk as a reference guide during the day if I'm struggling and call in the energy of that animal to help me move through the situation. If you've never worked with animal energy it becomes a reminder of the lesson that can help you out. My sweet dog is always under my desk and l loves to play. But sometimes when I'm loaded down with work and he's demanding my attention, it would cause me stress. Now I see him as this reminder to take a break and have some playtime, then get back to work more relaxed. Animals are all around us, I love that Allyson refers to them as our brothers and sisters because when you view it from that lens, the world is truly a more magical place :)!

As someone who's read and studied my fair share of books on spirituality, I'm tough to impress. This book, however, is much more than an exploration into metaphysical teachings. It's a merging of the universal human experience and the wisdom of the animal kingdom. It's also an incredible work of art, visually. As I began to explore its beautifully illustrated pages, it occurred to me how strange it is that more books in this genre ignore the contribution of animals to our collective growth and healing. Since everything is energy- or consciousness expressed as energy, the animal kingdom must be included in the conversation. This book perfectly balances the power of universal principles, as applicable to human seekers of truth, with the innate power of animals as our teachers as transmitted not only by the author herself, but also the diverse range of contributors. A must for any collector of timeless books, and coffee table art!

I bought this book for five people in my life! It’s so incredibly powerful and beautifully illustrated. It has already brought tears to my eyes multiple times. You’ll connect with yourself and your guides with this book. Also makes a wonderful gift for animal lovers. Alyson is a remarkably powerful shaman and I feel lucky to own some of her work.

I bought it in May and didn't really open it until August. Not because I didn't like it it was because I didn't have time to really look and read it. Just recently I was inspired to open up and look at the book and the timing was impeccable. This book is an incredible guide! I had some time to read the introduction and how to use it and absolutely LOVE this book! The illustrations, written words, and practices is exactly what I need at this time. I am extremely happy to of found this book and happy I was patient to see what magic it would bring me months after purchasing it.

If you're curious about and intrigued by how animal symbology shows up in your life, and what they represent, this book is a beautiful and inspiring resource. I have started to pay closer attention to which animals and creatures continuously show up in my life and each time I have referenced Animal Power, the descriptions are deeply resonant with what is transpiring in my life. Alyson has a true gift and a calling to channel the animal realm and make sense of its role in our human lives. Thank you.

Wow, this book is truly beautiful! You can feel all the heart, soul & wisdom that was poured in to each & every page. This book is the perfect size & perfect weight! The pages are strong, the art work is beautiful, the font is on point and easy to read. The stories are captivating. The practices are potent! The information is luscious! There is an abundance of healing energy flowing from each of the 100 included animals. Well worth the wait! Happy & excited to have it in hand. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I had listened to Alyson Charles on the podcast Cosmic Body by Danielle Paige. After that, I knew I had to get this book! I am so happy I ordered. Alyson spoke about how she is a Shaman, and how she can tune into other realms and call in a power animal to give a message. Gorgeous, powerful book with lots of great information. Animals are in alphabetical order, making it SO easy to use. A perfect gift for someone who has many different animals come to them in their dreams. Would totally order this book for friends! Would be a lovely gift.

There is no table of contents in this book. Have to flip thru to get to the animal you want to read about... Not user/reader friendly. Other than that, book got tons of information.

I love this book. It is beautifully illustrated, has clear easy to read facts about each power animal. It is a lovely coffee table book.
