Great dark chocolate

Organic chocolate and tastes delicious!

I would have given this product five stars, but it lacked in taste on its own. I think a good quality chocolate should be great tasting on its own, blend well when melted and incorporate in bake goods with easy to earn five stars. This product did great blending while melted and working in recipes, but it's get the 5 stars in taste on its own. I expect, and love, the bitter taste of dark chocolate, but this was a bit too bitter. Additionally, I wanted taste a bit more of the chilies in this chocolate and it lask that as well. Still a good chocolate, just not a 5 star chocolate.

In love with all of Theo's chocolates but this one way great

I have a dairy allergy, and I used to love Trader Joe’s chocolate oranges at Christmas. Sadly, they are no longer dairy free, so I thought these would be a good substitute. Alas, the orange flavor is just barely there. Enough that I can sort of smell it if I pay attention, but not enough that I can taste it.I also find these unbearably bitter. And this is coming from someone who generally prefers dark chocolate. I ended up pouring a generous dollop of honey on them…about a 50/50 ratio of chocolate to honey. Of course, that eliminates any chance of tasting the orange, but I could barely taste that to begin with.I’m not likely to get these again. I wish the major manufacturers would make a dark chocolate version of their products that was dairy free and used cane sugar. I have a dairy and corn allergy, so that’s why I resort to vegan chocolate bars. But vegan chocolate bars are way overpriced and this is the second one I’ve tried. And the second one that was ridiculously bitter. Overpriced and disappointing is worse than simply disappointing.I don’t want to suffer for my chocolate. If I’m going to eat something sweet, then I want it to be unapologetically sweet.

It is truly the best chocolate. You can eat it straight from the package or you can put it in your coffee and let it melt in there. It has a little essence of orange in it and it just makes you smile the rest of the day.

I've been enjoying Theo chocolates for some time because I can get quality chocolate without dairy and soy. Recently I purchased a box of 10 off Amazon, but was sad to find out I was reacting to the ginger in the chocolate. Since I had already eaten 1 of the 10, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to return the chocolate. I contacted the company directly, and they were very helpful, over and beyond my expectations. They responded promptly to me and sent chocolate to replace the bars I could not eat.
