4pcs Brooklyn Copper Bolster Steak Knife Set

I bought these knives to complement the rose gold silverware I bought for my new house. They look really good and feel great in my hand. I would definitely buy these again or for a gift. I could not wait to buy a steak and use these knives to carve them up!

I purchased these as a 2024 Christmas gift for my son. The black metal coating started chipping by summer 2025. My son noticed the chip flakes on his food! This is unacceptable! If this company has been making knives since 1838 I think they should’ve been able to get this right by now. I would hope the company would reach out to me after this review and make this purchase right.

Look and cut great. I like the rubberized handles, doesn’t feel like it would slip in your hand easily

Very nice. Recommend hand washing. Sharp. Comfortable grip

They are very nice looking when they’re new. But, new looking does not last long. The black on the blades is wearing off along the serrated edge, with peeling off along the middle of the blade. On two of them, pieces of thin dull/mat finish on the handle has peeled off showing shiny patches. And, do not use a dishwasher detergent with lemon in it or the copper will patina. I don’t use the dry cycle on my dishwasher. I open the door and air dry. I have to wipe spots off each one, because they show spots terribly. In all honesty, I would not recommend them. Sorry

I'm very pleased with these steak knives. Sharp, easy to hold and good looking. I intend to buy more Taylors Eye Witness cutlery.
