I worked for hours to get the sticker off but no matter how hard I tried I still damaged the cover. I really want to love this book. The sticker left residue and I thought alcohol would remove it this was a mistake as it left white stains which I used a leather conditioner on which helped. I am going to try something else on the second one I bought, I think for some reason they have possibly been wet since the pages are rippled or buckling. I feel that the price is good if they could do like the other manufacturers and use a paper tag instead of the sticker. I really like everything else about it and hate complaining. Thank you.This is more of my experience with this sketchbook. I love it. I have used watercolors lightly without wrinkling or bleed through. I also have used inks without bleed through. Very nice. I painted my cover with acrylic paint to cover damage from label. Added varnish then stickers which helped. I am very pleased. Would be fantastic without the label.I am adding more to my review. The paper is great. I painted a page with abstract acrylic paint in black and the page curled so I did the other side too and it flattened out nicely. There was no bleeding at all. I plan to try alcohol markers next just to see if it can hold up. Super nice all around. Except for my cover which the sticker ruined. Wish the seller would see this.

Nice size / dimensions. Spine also more durably and functionally constructed than I often see in larger sketchbooks... Readily lays closer to flat, when open, as well--which further facilitates & allows for sketching across and more into the spatial dimensions of its pages.

I was going to use it as a journal to write specific moments that happen in my day.Worked better because I am working on publishing my first book. I am able to use much better than my laptop.

This sketchbook is huge and a good quality for the price. The paper is not thick enough for watercolor, but for sketches and dry mediums it is fine. My only complaint is that it was wrapped in Amazon’s lightest envelope, and all the edges had damage.

Awesome large sketching!!

No words just happy with it

The large size, the paper quality, the hardback covers were perfect. But then they go and glue a huge tawdry sticker across the whole bottom front cover. The book came in a plastic protective sheet and a simple paper insert with product details would have sufficed. But no, we want the bar code and paper weight and warning messages in five languages and cheap colors and everything else to be the first thing the artist and others forever notice when they see the book. The covers are classy and black. Just leave them like that! If you want the brand name then emboss it or do it in an artistic manner. I spent a half hour scraping the sticker off, damaging the cover. My issue, I know. But a quality sketch book should look quality. I should see it and want to use it, not hide it out of sight.

Simply put, a great drawing paper that handles light washes really well!Hard cover at a great price.
