Green Peppercorns in Brine by La Caperelle (3.5 ounce) (2 Pack)

I love the product but one was delivered open and all of the brine leaked out.

Every year I cook a roast beef with a mustard and green peppercorn crust. Green peppercorns are difficult to find in the stores so I ordered a few of these. I'm covered for a few years now.

Until I discovered the recipe for Poivre sauce, I didn't know I needed brined green peppercorns. These taste great in my recipe and each bottle will make 3 or 4 batches of sauce (6-8 servings). The peppercorns are soft and full of flavor and firm enough to not burst while cooking.

Only half of the product was usable

Worth the price, delicious in steak sauce. Salty briney flavor explosions. The glass jars came packed surrounded by bubble wrap inside of a cardboard box.

I’ve used these green peppercorns before for a favorite pate that I’ve made for years. There’s no substitute.

These are yummy peppercorns. I was going to make a green peppercorn sauce for my steak, and it turned out very good! Now if I can get through making some Demi Glace, it will be phenomenal!

I received the Peppercorns two days later then promised, hence, I could’t use them, even if they had arrived unbroken .The containers were delivered broken!..The product may be good but I’ll never know!
