Worked really well, my car has a rear spoiler and the added weight does not effect them at all...holds rear hatch up perfectly.

I own a 2001 Audi TT Quattro with a hatch-back trunk. The current lift supports are beginning to rust and need replacing.I received these lifts and they installed easily, but they don’t hold the weight, so I returned them.

Hoped it would completely open instead of just popping up. But satisfied. Wife has difficulty with weight of trunk.

I was somewhat disappointed because the trunk support lids was not able to hold the trunk in the full open position. Although, it does relieve the stress of carrying the full weight of the trunk door, the support system does not fulfill what is intended to do.

After a couple of months, doesn't hold open the rear glass on my Saab Sonett. Wish these were stronger.

Do not order it if you have a TT coupe! The item incorrectly lists it as compatible... technically it fits, but these struts are NOT strong enough to hold the weight of the trunk for even 1 second! Only consider a purchase if you want to shatter someone's skull!
