Great Escapes USA. The Hotel Book (Multilingual Edition)

Got it for my husband on our first anniversary. He enjoyed looking at the pages now and then.

I finally bought this book on Amazon, at a great price, after seeing it at a few boutique shops in Laguna Beach and Newport Beach. Beautiful photos and a larger, well-made book. Looks great on my coffee table. Happy with my purchase!

This is a great coffee table book. Interesting and has very nice photos. The cover is great too. Good color add good quality.

I got this as a gift for a couple about to embark on a 3 week trip in Africa. They told me that they read it cover to cover and got twice as excited about their trip as before. They thanked me over and over. They had never seen a LP book and said they would never even consider taking another trip w/o buying one for that destination. This must be a very useful book!

What makes this book unique is that all of the hotels are “off the beaten path” and quirky- not the hotels everyone finds on trip advisor and booking.com. That being said they are not places most people could afford to stay in. However, it makes for an interesting coffee table read.

I thought the content and photos would be a little more exciting. Not much info.

High quality book though translations in German and French limit textual info in English. Hotel choices are quite quirky, reflecting the author's interests. Covers only limited parts of the country. would not recommend!
