Some are on the pricey side (rose attar, for instance) but the author makes you feel worthy of the indulgence.Beauty Witch Secrets is the extension of the Beauty Witch column on Enchanted Living Magazine’s website. I guarantee that if you spend a few hours reading her articles you WILL desire this book.The only con is the lack of pictures of finished product. The ingredient glossary is comprehensive.Most liquid recipes make between 3 and 4 ounces. eBay is the best place to find vintage bottles. On the other hand, a regular Boston round bottle decorated with engraving, etching, or painting will really make it your own.Combine Beauty Witch Secrets with Bohemian Witchcraft by V. Varlow, and a subscription to Enchanted Living Magazine and you have the perfect gift for yourself or the gorgeous witch in your life.

Loved reading all of the history and mythology behind each spell and ritual aswell as the useful ingredient encyclopedia of all of the relevant herbs and oils in the back of the book. This book also took care to be ethical and leave out the use of honey to help the bees. Only thing I don't like is that alot of recipes include ingredient that are pricey and impossible to find locally but it does help that most of the recipes share similar ingredients so if you do end up buying the supplies it won't be waisted on one thing. Best book on natural remedies for beauty and self-care with a magical twist.

This is the most beautiful, thoughtful, and complete beauty book I've ever seen! I love that there's even a list of where you can get the ingredients, taking the guess work out, and getting you down to making the recipes in no time. Alise's words are poetry, and the recipes are easy to follow, and so tantalizing to make. I can't wait to make ALL of them! There's something for every Goddess, no matter what season she's in. I love how you can mix and match the potions, and the only rule is to bathe yourself in an abundance of love and self-care. So needed in these times!

My mojo has really taken a hit the last few years and this book has helped me get it back, and crawl out of the permanent funk I was in. From the first chapter I felt the words weaving their magick on me and making me feel like my old self, only better.It’s beautifully written (no pun intended) and completely captivating from rituals, recipes, and advice. I’ve been telling my friends to get a copy and so should you, you’ll be glad you did

I LOVE this book! She covers all body/beauty related topics as well as recipes for drinks and such. It has nice glossy pages with color and is truly a joy to read/look through. I love that the recipes are not animal product based. So much to love about this book ♥️

Interesting though

Praise and awe for The Beauty Witch! This book has literally changed my life and I haven't looked back. I have completely changed how I see taking care of myself and I'm so grateful for it. Everything I've tried in her book has worked for me. I'mso excited to see what Alise blesses the world with next. She is absolutely lovely!The only complaint is that I wish this book was in hardcover- it would look astonishing on my coffee table or beauty altar as such! Llewellyn- please re-release as a hardback! Otherwise nothing but good things to say.

The Beauty Witch’s Secrets: Recipes & Rituals For the Modern Goddess by Alise Marie is a treasure trove of recipes, potions, elixirs, and concoctions for practicing pagans as well as those simply curious that promises to both tantalize the mind and delight the senses.Marie melds her expertise as an actress and holistic nutritionist with her experience as a practicing witch to bring eco-friendly recipes to the general public. Each chapter focuses upon a different beauty product, with the chapter intros explaining the different uses that concoction has. She carefully aligns every treatment with the appropriate cycle of the moon as well, so that their powers will be amplified and in line with natural cycles.Furthermore, there are excellent references at the back of the book for not only the uses for each of the ingredients included in the books, but also where to ethically source them. All of the recipes in the book are vegan and able to be ethically sourced. Marie is also economical – the more expensive items that the recipes call for are able to be used in multiple recipes.Marie succeeds in bringing interesting and valuable knowledge to the public, and this reader is personally looking forward to using some of the potions in the next coming weeks. Everyone deserves pampering, and the lotions, hair masques, and drinks can be used by women and men alike. A truly beautiful book!I feel like Cleopatra reading this book of delicious beauty treatments and words of wisdom.All the ingredients are to the standard that we should be treating ourselves but sometimes forget to. Alise reminds us that we are radiant beings of light, and I’m so grateful for that.I will treasure and utilise this tome of enlightenment and beauty. I have already bought several copies to give to the important women in my life. Everyone deserves the chance to cultivate their own unique beauty and Alise has compiled this exquisitely! And only this will do.

This book is absolutely soul nourishing. As an incredibly busy single mother this book has been such a gift in helping me set aside time for myself for some much needed R&R. Every ritual helps me cleanse and rejuvenate mind, body, and soul. Can’t recommend highly enough. 🙏🏼💖🙏🏼
