Great chopping ax , I have a camp in northern Pennsylvania. I have campfires most nights when I am there needed a good ax for chopping some wood and it’s heavy duty and works great

There are a few chips off the blade. Not sure if a sharpener would help, not that I have one. I need it now so I don't have time to return and reorder. Had a rubber blade cover and a nice hanging bag cover for it.

Solid little ax!

Very bad hatchet. My butter knives are sharper than this thing, there’s melted adhesive dripping down the handle and it’s not the color I ordered. The green color advertised is not the green you’ll get. This is more of a toy than a tool. I wasn’t expecting a great hatchet at this price, but this was a disappointing order. Can it split a piece of firewood? Sort of, but so can a shovel.. Update: I did take some time to sharpen it. Unless you have a good sharpener, this will take a while. It should be advertised that this is not a sharp blade. But I did get it sharp enough to be useful. I still wish the color was the electric green that I ordered (this kind of thing just makes me mad. Sending the advertised color should be foolproof). I wish I knew I would have to spend an hour sharpening it but now I'd say for $13 it's an okay deal. I am getting a high quality axe as well but wanted something smaller for quick jobs.

Good weight and feels balanced in your hand. Sharp edge. I would buy again

A nice product with surprisingly good quality materials and construction. This thing should get a lot done for me and last a good long time. Would buy it again

High quality good axe

I like my cutting tools shaving sharp, this is somewhat dull. However it looks to be solid enough to split some firewood, maybe not hardwood. It is however good for the price point.
